18. RESCUED

Derib was a light sleeper but strangely that night he slept so much that he forgot to check on the Prince who had bet his hope on him that he will soon find out that he was missing but that was not the case, he was snoring!

Elora went inside his tent to wake him up and after several attempt he was finally awake when she gave him a stinging slap on his back

“wake up! Wake up! The Prince is in danger!” she said alerting him

“what do you mean the Prince is in danger? He is sleeping in his tent, where did you see something that absurd” he muttered sleepily but another stinging slap at the back of his neck woke him up fully

“You didn’t have to slap me like that!” he yelled rubbing his neck with pain but Elora glared at him

“Can you see how painful it is now?” she muttered

She had purposely given him that slap because he was starting to annoy her with his sleepy attitude and also she needed to take her revenge of him beating her

“will you wake up now and follow me? The Prince is in danger”
