Rowling:
The words he’s here shook him to the core. He glanced down at everything he wanted in life sitting in his lap and he panicked. He grabbed a hold of Claire as he stood up lifting her to her feet as well.
“What does he’s here mean exactly?” He asked Jonah his eyes frantically looking about the cabin still holding on to Claire.
“Wait what?” Claire asked, snapping out of it.
“As in he’s boarding the ship now.” Jonah said his own worries came out in his voice.
“Fuck..Fuck..Fuck” Jack said still looking for a place to put Claire.

They needed a back up plan in case everything went south or they didn't find what they were looking for. She was deep in thought she didn't hear the door open behind her. Brainless: Jonah hung from his hands struggling, the pain in his shoulder was searing. He had been attempting to break the rope by rubbing his hands and hoping that the hook holding the rope in place would fray them.
