GENERAL

"The moment we've all been waiting for is finally here!" The master of the ceremony's voice echoed through the speakers in the event hall. Everyone was seated, and their attention was solely on the podium. It was the last and the most anticipated event of the night. This was the one everyone at the event had attended. The only moment they could flaunt their wealth and make people respect them. Some flaunt money so that they could network and garner the attention of people with a higher and bigger class.

"Why do I smell hypocrisy everywhere?" Violet stretched her neck to her sister's side, whispering.

Sister Kate tilted her head, gaped at her for seconds, and chuckled. "Let's talk about you. Don't you think you did too much to your ex-husband and his girlfriend?" She muttered. "I didn't know you were this brutal, but I love it so much," she added, causing Violet to burst into laughter. For a moment, she thought she was about to reprimand her for putting Stewart and Willow

VIOLET "Babies, dinner is ready," I shouted from the dining room, putting the last dish on the table. The children ran inside almost immediately, their eyes radiating elation. "What is for dinner, Mummy?" Nyla questioned, settling on her chair. Her eyes were fixed on the steak on the table. "Mummy! There's a stick (steak)," she shouted. Her lips parted into a wide, cheeky grin. "You are the best, Mummy," she affirmed before digging into her food.I chuckled, sitting down. "Stop that, Nyla. What must you do before eating"? I raised a question.Nathan and Nyla glanced at each other. Then, she shifted her gaze to me. "Pray before eating," she answered truthfully with pouty lips. "I am sorry, Mummy," "Nathan, pray for us," I beckoned before closing my eyes and clasping my palms together. "Bless this food, Lord," he simply said, and we chorused, "Amen."Opening my eyes, I breathed out loudly and said, "Alright. Let's eat, kids." It was as though the duo had been waiting for me to

WILLOWIt's been three days since the ELITE party, and I haven't been able to shrug away the humiliation and pain Violet caused me. I felt like a failure. Stewart has stopped speaking to me. He hasn't been happy, and whenever I look at him, I can discern that he has a lot going on in his mind. Certainly, I knew it was none other than Violet. He must be thinking about that bitch. I didn't know why she returned. I didn't know what her motive was. I needed to do something before Violet finally took him away from me finally. I cannot let her win. I have always been the superior, and nothing would change now. I paced all over the room, biting my fingers and staring at the space with no particular solution in mind. It was vivid. Violet is a threat, and I mustn't allow that. The door opened, and Katie walked in. "Willow, my dear. Do you want to go shopping with me? TY Design has the unlimited bag I wanted. Let's go together before it is sold out." She mumbled, clutching my arm and attempt

VIOLETStewart has gone nuts, and he has just bitten off more than he could chew. What children was that bastard talking about? I wouldn't lie; for a few seconds, I was scared when I heard them speak about children. I was certain I hid the pregnancy from him six years ago. Even now, I hid the children away from him, yet he found out about them. How did the bastard do that? Has he been having me tailed? My eyes darkened, and anger coursed through me like fire on dried leaves. I could accept every other thing, but dragging my children into this mess? I would never accept that under any circumstances. I shoved him to the side with the door and descended from the car. Slamming the door, I took a few steps closer to him. I didn't know if he was terrified, but he kept taking steps backward until he was restricted by a car. Well, that was none of my business. I just needed my message to be passed. "Mr. Stewart, the contract between us has been terminated. I will ask my secretary to forwa

STEWART "The production design has been submitted by the design department, and I love it. It is unique. Liam...," Violet called and gestured to him with her eyes. Liam came to my side and put an iPad in front of me. "That's the design, Mr. Stewart," she continued. "Let me know if you have your own opinion about the design." My eyes skimmed through the design for a moment, but my mind was elsewhere. Ever since the message dropped in my email, I have been rummaging through my head for ideas on how to talk to Violet about them. "Mr. Stewart...? Any problem?" Her voice jerked me out of my train of thought. I lifted my head, put on a fake smile, and shook my head. "No, Violet. Sorry... Miss Violet. The design is superb. I am sure it raised the sales of the product by 50%. A lot of people would purchase it because of the design rather than its capacity," I chipped in. "Okay. Liam, come closer," Violet muttered, picking up her tablet from the table. "Tell the production team to star

STEWARTI stared at the space without blinking as I found it difficult to assimilate what I just read. How did that happen? How was it even possible? She never told me she was pregnant. Beads of sweat shrouded my forehead and slid down my body one after the other. My body shook, and an unsettling feeling overwhelmed me. Violet's children are mine. They are mine. I have children with Violet. She is the mother of my children. A multitude of emotions enveloped me. I had the urge to laugh, scream, and even worry. I didn't know if I should be excited or sad. It has been six years, and I never knew I had children somewhere. The same woman I discarded and maltreated six years ago was with them. Gosh! This was the last thing I expected. I couldn't even handle the news properly. I was such a fool. I shouldn't have sent her away. I shouldn't have divorced her. My thoughts froze when the reality dawned on me. I gasped and covered my mouth with my hands. Was she already pregnant when I forced h

STEWARTFury dominated me, chasing away every other emotion. My fists were tightened aggressively, and the lines of my veins popped out. I hadn't been this humiliated and played. Violet was merciless and brutal. I couldn't believe that we fell into her trap without thinking. And it was because of Willow. If it weren't for her obsession with that gold bag, I wouldn't have splashed a whopping sum of $30 million on a useless bag. I felt like a fool. I couldn't even see through that little trick of Violet's. As we drove home, the lopsided smile on Violet's lips as she glanced at me didn't leave my head. She was making a jest of me. She must be inwardly saying that I lost while she won. "Babe, I told you Violet isn't who you think she is. She is callous and wouldn't mind resorting to dirty tricks just to get what she wants." Willow mumbled beside me, grabbing my arm. For an unknown reason, I was disgusted by her. Her voice irked me, and her scent made my stomach churn. How could somebo
