~STEWART~

It had been three days since Willow and Katie were arrested and thrown in the cell. And it has also been three days since I heard Violet's voice. I couldn't reach her after the last call we made.

I could feel she was avoiding me, but I didn't know the reason.

Last night, my phone rang, and the caller turned out to be Detective Gabriel. He told me Violet had decided to cancel the charges and allegations against my sister, and Willow and I could come for their release the following day.

It was surprising because I didn't think Violet would decide to let things go easily since it concerned her children. Well, it was all for the best. Whether I liked it or not, Katie was my sister and would remain as one. I wouldn't be able to treat her as an outsider forever.

The next day, I drove to the station and met Violet. She was discussing something with the detective when I walked in, and a radiant smile was etched on her face. For a moment, I was dazed. I paused in my tracks and admi

~VIOLET~An imaginable incident was the one I found myself in. Spending the night with Stewart in an enclosed place? If someone had proposed that to me, I would have chosen to spend the night alone in the graveyard instead. Everything about tonight was annoying. How could bad things keep happening? First was the guard who didn't know his duty, and second was my foolishness. How could I forget my bag in his car? "Come and settle here. You know you cannot stand until morning," Stewart told me, pointing at the metal bench in front of him. I could see a smile on his lips even though it was glaring enough, and that made me roll my eyes. How could he smile in this horrible condition we might ask ourselves? Was he enjoying it?Hissing, I walked to him and settled on the seat. He didn't sit. Instead, he stood in front of me, staring at me unblinkingly with a huge smile etched on his face. I felt uncomfortable. Those eyes pierced into me like thousands of needles. "Just sit and stop t

~GENERAL~ "What is your thought about the finished product?" Stewart raised a question as he walked into the production factory with Violet, Liam, and his assistant, Jackson. The electrical appliances they designed have been produced, and they went to inspect the finish quality and design. However, they went there late at night since the duo were both busy in their respective companies. Only the manager of the production factory was there with them.Violet picked one of the electrical rice cookers and inspected each function and button in it. It was created uniquely, making it different from the usual cooker. It had a screen with multiple options, and you could set your timer. "I like this one. When is the testing day?" She turned to the manager, who was behind them. "ERM... That hasn't been decided yet. You know there's nothing we can do without your final inspection," he responded to her, rubbing his palms together to reduce his anxiety. He knew how much the project had cos

~GENERAL~ "Mommy!" Katie cried out in the hospital bed as soon as she saw her mother walk into the ward.Fortunately for Katie and Willow, a young boy who unintentionally threw his ball into the building's compound from his father's mansion heard their low cries when he jumped into the compound to pick it up. He quickly went to inform his father, and when they returned there, they met the both of them, wincing in pain, in the pool of their blood.Immediately, the paramedics were reached out to, and they were taken to the hospital after spending two hours in pain. "My love! Katie. Oh my gosh! Who did it to you? Who are the bastards who did this to my daughters?" Madam Josephine gasped when she saw how battered her daughter was. The marks were wide and visible. Even if they healed, there wasn't a possibility that all the scars would disappear. "Mommy! "I am scared," she cried out, holding her mother's hands.Stewart, who was behind his mother, strolled into the ward and was shocked

~GENERAL~Willow and Katie were taken to an old building. It was uncompleted but old. It was either the owner of the building who lacked funds to complete it or already dead because of how old and dilapidated it looked. "Where are you taking us to?" Who are you? "Let me go," Katie and Willow shouted, blindfolded and taken to where they had no idea. They were scared, but they'd grown thick skins before today, especially Willow, who was used to dirty games like this. One of the men shoved them as soon as they got into the building, and they staggered before they collapsed on the floor. Their hands were tied. The duo struggled with the rope clasping their hands together. However, the more they tried, the more they got injured. "Why are you fucking doing this?" Do you know who my brother is? He will not forgive you if he discovers that you did this to his sister," Katie bragged, shouting. The men glanced at each other, moved their gazes to her, and burst into peals of laughter. "

~VIOLET~Just when I thought Stewart would stop calling, my phone began to ring again. And this time, it didn't stop even after twenty missed calls. I thought of turning my phone off, but I am a businesswoman, and there could be an emergency at work. Turning it off could cause a huge loss for me.I decided to pick up the phone when I couldn't bear the incessant ringing anymore. "Thank you for picking up, Violet. How are my..." He paused as he realized what he was about to do. My brows also creased. He better control his speech before I hang up on him. He shouldn't even try to increase my exasperation. "How are your children?" I heard what happened, and I can tell you that I am not in support of what they did. I am ready to do anything you want. If you want them to remain in the cell, I have nothing against it," he mumbled, anxiety vivid in his voice. To be honest, I didn't believe what I was hearing from him. I expected him to support his sister and his beloved girlfriend, but he w
