Lacey called him back and told him my answer in my exact words. I knew he had chosen not to sign the papers when Lacey’s volume increased, “Fine, you have no idea of the shit storm you have created. We will see you in court.” I started feeling dizzy and everything went black.

When I opened my eyes, I was in an ambulance with Lacey sitting next to me, “Oh my goodness, Harley! Are you okay?” One of the EMTs asked, “Ms. Frost, you passed out and your blood pressure is running a bit high. We are on the way to the hospital to have you checked out. Okay?”

I just nodded, “That’s fine. I figure it’s just stress with all of Victor’s bullshit plus the move. I’ve been having a lot of nightmares about his mother, so that keeps waking me up. My body is just involuntary shutting down to force me to rest.” The EMT answered, “You are probably right.”

Lacey sighed, “Well, I don’t want you to talk to him anymore. You let me handle him.” The ambulance stopped and the EMTs wheeled me into an ER bay. They
