I spent the next hour helping them choose the fabrics they would need, then I spent the next eight hours measuring my friends, cutting fabric and sewing the gowns and capes. I asked the ladies if they wanted ties and pocket squares to match their dresses and they agreed. I finished those quickly and then I was done. I asked them to try them on, and they went to the bathroom to change.

While they were in the bathroom, Daniel got home and he had Victor and Theodore with him. I had my hair in a messy bun and I was exhausted, but I felt pretty good, otherwise. Daniel took one look at me and rushed to me. He looked at me with concern, “Are you feeling okay?” I nodded, “Yeah. I feel fine. I’m just tired. That’s all.” I took Daniel’s hand and led him to where his father and brother stood.

The ladies came out of the bathroom and I smiled as they modeled their gowns. Victor gasped, “Are those your designs?” I nodded, “I just drew them while Daniel and I were at the beach house last weekend.” He
