AMBER

I kept quiet. I pretended to have a cough. I wanted to clear the lump in my throat. Sebastian was right. I've never been treated right by my worthless husband.

"Besides my family, you're right. I've never been treated right," I replied briefly.

I saw sadness pass through his face. "Don't worry. From now on, it won't just be your family who cares about you, Amber. It'll be me too."

I didn't know how to respond to him. I felt like I had become mute. "Speaking of your family, it's been years since you disappeared. Do you really have no plans to visit your family? To introduce yourself as Willow?" he asked as we walked towards the restaurant.

The place was beautiful. It was located at a high point and was cooler compared to the city's temperature. The view was 360 degrees, and there was thick fog. The restaurant had a spacious ground, and from what I could see, expensive cars were parked. And this could only mean one thing – the customers were wealthy.
