Three years into my marriage with Dominick, Gia, his stepsister, sent me a video clip out of nowhere. I tapped on the video, only to find Dominick tying his stepsister to the bedpost with the tie I had given him. His stepsister lay naked under him, addressing him intimately. After getting their freak on, they shared an embrace, and Gia cozied up against Dominick and uttered, “I don’t like the ring you bought me. Give it to Luna, and tell her it’s a birthday gift from me.” The next day, I sat in an upscale restaurant and stared at the vacant seat across the table. Suddenly, the Underboss wheeled a massive cake toward me. “Don Costa was called away on urgent business. He sent me to deliver your birthday gift.” The box contained his stepsister’s discarded reject. My phone buzzed with new pictures from Gia. Dominick was at the hospital with Gia for a check-up. Without a fuss, I signed the divorce papers and made preparations for a wedding. “Donna Costa, whose names should I put down as the bride and groom?” “Dominick and Gia.” A week from now, I would show the world the kind of filth the supposed solemn Don had been rolling in with his stepsister.

The Ex’s Wedding Gift Chapter 14
The next time I opened my eyes, Cesare was hunched over beside my hospital bed. With his eyes closed and a rough chin, he didn’t look like a celebrity in the slightest.Picking up on my gaze, Cesare opened his eyes. “This is on me. How could I leave you on your own at the hospital entrance? It’s all my fault.” I ruffled his hair with a smile. “Don’t cry. You’re going to annoy the baby.” Despite offering a lot of assurance to Cesare, I was honestly terrified and shaken. Even in the dead of night, my dreams were filled with Gia lunging at me with a knife.I knew Gia wasn’t going to let me walk out alive, so a deal was never an option. I only pretended to play along to get the phone within reach and send out a distressed message. Plus, I was aware that Cesare kept tabs on my phone, so he would tap into the call. With that, I took a gamble, and it paid off. I didn’t care whether Dominick would show up at all. Still, I must admit that I didn’t expect him to agree to the dema

I was bound to the bed. Pulling out a knife, Gia traced it across my exposed stomach. “What are you trying to do, Gia? Let me go!” Gia chuckled. “Hold still, or I’ll take this knife… and plunge it right in.” I stopped putting up a fight. Following my reaction, the resentment in Gia’s eyes grew. “Wow, the baby means so much to you. Why didn’t you die? How can you get pregnant again? Why are you living the good life now?” It was the day I learned that Dominick threw Gia into the dungeon promptly after her miscarriage without even the chance to get better. Gia suffered a bad infection in her wounds, eventually losing the chance to ever bear children. Even so, Dominick did not even pay her a visit. At the time, Dominick drowned his sorrows in alcohol, mourning my death. On the occasion he had too much to drink, he would go down to her cell to beat her up, nearly fatally. The way he saw it, Gia was the root of all his suffering. “I was in so much pain back then.

The sight of Dominick made my heart skip a beat. However, I quickly got my act together. From the moment Cesare posted the picture, I knew this day would come. “You have confused me with someone else, sir,” I looked back and said curtly. “Don’t play dumb with me, Luna! I know it’s you. I knew you weren’t dead!” Acting like a madman, Dominick lunged toward me, grabbed my arm, and rattled me with great force. He gripped me so hard as if he wanted to break my bones. As I furrowed my brows, a big hand shoved him to the ground. Cesare pulled me behind him. “Don’t you put your hands on my woman, you raging lunatic.” Dominick fell to the ground and stared blankly at our tightly clasped hands. “No… This can’t be true. Luna would never be with someone else. “It’s just an act, right? You’re only doing this to get rid of me!” To be frank, I had never seen Dominick flipping out before. The disdain in my eyes deepened. “Sir, I don’t know who you’re talking about, but have so

(Luna’s Point of View)Upon my return to Averia, my parents were furious at how weak I looked. After hearing what I had been through, they were ready to take the next flight out to get even with Dominick. Seeing that I stopped them, my parents asked me in fury, “Don’t tell me you still have feelings for him.” I shook my head, my voice firm. “I just want him out of my life.” While the wedding fiasco spread like wildfire, it didn’t give me much of a thrill of vengeance.I no longer wanted to hear anything related to Dominick. One day, I unexpectedly received a voicemail from Gia. Her voice was shrill, and her words made no sense. She sounded unhinged, simply venting her emotions out to me, the supposed deceased. “Why… Why won’t he spare my child when you are already dead? It was the only child he had left. “He won’t believe me one bit. He even threatened to rip me apart to make amends when he finds you. How can he be so cruel? “Even if he doesn’t love me, I’m still
