Chapter 34 - Getting There In Time

As the plane soars through the air, I look out the window at the blue sky and grunt, “Did you arrange for a vehicle to be waiting for us when we land? I don’t want to wait around for it. I don’t think we have much time left before something happens between those two.”

My mind quickly fills with the various possibilities. All of which has Bry kissing Zack, and the spell is then broken.

My heart twists. I’m not going to let that happen.

As my gaze drifts down to the ground and the tiny buildings below, Hunter replies, “Yes. I have everything ready and set to go. As soon as we land, we can jump into the vehicle and have the driver take us to the pack house. If everything goes well, we can get there before anything more happens between the two.”

I nod. “That’s good. Did your parents say anything to you when you asked your father to watch over your stuff and to help my father while we are gone?”

My mother’s concerned voice replays in my head.
