EVREN
How she managed to get into the student council through Thronhelm is none of my business. But I clearly warned her not to and she did. I smirked slightly as I walked away from the assembly. Being in the student council, Kaelyn wouldn't expect in. “Don't,” I said quietly, my voice eerie to my own ears. Sometimes, I thought I feared myself. There were no limits to the things I could do as Alpha Prince, including asking for someone's death, but there were limits to mistakes and I could make, and, characters I could condone. Kaelyn looked at me, her eyes shifting. “What?” “Kaiven's seat is not for anyone else.” I didn't care if she was Kaiven's friend or not. Kaiven didn't tell me about her so she was a liar for all I knew. And I was going to find that out. And how…she knew Kaiven. She stuttered, “But there's are no other seats here.” I smirked, “There's a small stool outside, that's if you are really interested in joining the meeting.” I said and placed the chair back in it's position. “What do you mean by take a stool?” “Right, Evren. I mean, he could sit there.” My eyes flicker towards Dareth, “He can't. This is Kaiven's sit.” “This is a petty attitude,” My eyes turned towards Kaelyn. She gulped, “Prime Alpha Prince.” she gritted her teeth. I smiled slowly, smirking, “Are you going to report that…to Commander Stone?” “Well, there is evidence this time around.” “The rule is simple. Anything that happens in this building doesn't go out. That's the only rule the Student Council Committee has. Technically speaking, you can't tell anything that happens in here to anyone.” Rhythe said. She gulped, fisting her fingers. Her eyes blazed with anger as she stared at me. But eventually, she walked out, grabbing the stool and bringing back in. “Fine.” She huffed and sat down on it. Short and small, she almost disappeared beneath the table. “We can't even see you, Kaelyn.” Dareth sighed as he stood up, “Sit on mine.” She made to stand up. “Don't you…dare.” Everyone stayed silent. Dareth bit his lips but didn't go against me as he sat down back slowly. “Kaelyn, this is where you'd sit every meeting, until I say otherwise.” “Aren't you…going too far?” She snapped. I flattened my lips as I sucked in a deep breath, “Do you think so, Kaelyn? Am I going….” I chuckle slowly, “going too far?” Her lower lips disappeared into her mouth as she looked away, but sh doesn't say another word. I had her secret in my palm. That was enough to keep her quiet. Revealing her secret won't just take her out of Storm Academy, she would loose her life. My great-grandfather had made that law and no one in the whole of Virelia had the heart to go against it but this girl…. supposedly timid but yet acted like royalty, did so. “I'm really curious, Kaelyn. How did you manage to get into the Student Council? Is it because you are someone like Calrix?” Soren asked. Her eyes flickered to Calrix who stared at her back, mirroring her expressions.. Calrix was the most unpredictable in the whole of Virelia. Quiet and unpredictable. If he managed to survive till the end, I'll make him an offer he can't refuse and take him back with me to Dusk watch pack. Unfailingly. “Yeah, that was what the headmaster told me.” I placed the quill pen into ink as I drew with it on the white paper, something that resembled an eagle or just a bird. I don't really know. “So you mean to say…. Headmaster Thornhelm called you, and told you to join the student council even when we were complete?” My eyes fell on her and she narrowed her eyes. “Would you say I'm lying if I say so?” “Well, you always lie. So I wouldn't know.” “Ev–Prime Alpha Prince, aren't you crossing the lines?” “There are no lines when it gets to me.” I muttered, raising my brows. She scoffed, muttering something under her breath. An insult, probably. I'm not bothered by the things people can't say out loud. “Kaelyn, you are going to suffer a lot.” I muttered as I got up from the chair, “Just…try to stay alive. So you can go back home in one piece.” I ruffled her hair as I walked away, walking out of the room. There was actually no meeting. It was something like a get together where I had questions to be asked and Soren did that already. Her answer was disturbing, but the truth was there. Kaelyn and the headmaster had something worth investigating. “Do you want me to trace his background specially?” Rhythe asked as he walked behind me. “I don't know..I'm confused.” “You should have told me it was about him. I would have narrowed my search simply to his trails, instead of searching the whole of Virelia.” I sucked in a deep breath, “Even when you searched, his name still didn't pop up. What do you say to that?” I asked. “There are many Kaelyns but they are all girls. And there are many Altairs whosd first names are not Kaelyn.” “What does that tell you?” I stopped, turning to look at him. He stared at me for a minute, “That his real name might not be Kaelyn.” Interesting. That's a positive aspect to think about. But….what if she's Kaelyn but not Altair? Another interesting aspect. “Just leave him to me. I'll take care of him.” I replied and walked down the stairs, going to the prospect class. Rhythe walked closer to me as he spoke this time around, “It's from one of the competitions. I think Kaiven found out something dark which he shouldn't.” “So they took him.” My voice turned dark. “We don't know who they are. At least not yet.” I fisted my hands tightly. “Just keep searching. I know my father has men watching me, but they won't watch you. So you have to be my help in this. I have to find Kaiven. I must, else I'll be damned.” Rhythe looked at me. “I understand.” I nod. Thank you, Rhythe.KAELYN.The white haired guy stands up and walked out of the place, leaving me with only Dareth and Soren.Dareth leaned closer, “So seriously, the headmaster just appointed you as a vassal members of the student union.” “I wonder..” I muttered curiously, “what does the student union do?”He smirked, “Nothing in particular. We just…lounge around.”“Truthfully speaking, Evren's the one that does most around here. Why? Can you snatch his place and push him out?”“What? He's the Prime Alpha Prince. That's impossible.” I snapped.Soren’s eyes narrowed and I can tell he lost all the pleasure he might have had speaking with me before. “I see.” He muttered, pushed his chair backwards aand walked out.Dareth smiled, “So you are bad at taking jokes. Interesting.” “Was that meant to be a joke?” I asked.“Soren makes dark jokes most of the time. If you can't understand, you'd be his enemy. I think you are marked for that. Congratulations.”“That's not something to be happy about.” I scoffed.H

KAELYN.“That's impossible. From the beginning of Storm Academy when it was created by our ancestor, Alpha General Rhogar Vael, the student council had only be formed by six people. The Prime Alpha Prince, two Alphas from the most important packs as available, the prime alpha's beta and two smart kids. It's complete, we need no one else. The laws cannot be changed.”He seemed very agitated by my request.“But one of the seats are empty right now–”“The seat of Alpha Prince Kaiven cannot be taken!” He banged his hand on the desk angrily.Shivers ran down my spine, but that didn't stop me from moving forward.“Fine, I understand.” I stood up slowly, “But I can't help you if you refuse to help me.”“Kaelyn!” His voice made me halt in my tracks. I didn't turn back to look at him, but my hands slipped off the door knob.“Fine. I believe we can create a spot for you. It's impossible to take someone out of the student council but we can bring you in. But….” He walked towards me, “The moment
KAELYN I backed away from his grip, shrugging his hands off me. “I'm…fine.”He stared at his fingers for a while, before his eyes slowly pulled towards me. I had a feeling his hands must have landed on my chest due to the pull. My teeth captured my lower lip tightly. So hard that blood tasted in my lips.“If I hadn't caught you yet, you would have gotten the gravel. You might be dead already.”*Thank you for helping me.” “You look familiar.” He muttered, running his eyes through me. “But the person I know is a girl.” I chuckled. It escaped in broken sounds. “Double faces, I see.” I muttered. I felt sweaty as I placed my hands behind me. Right now, it's extremely hard to breathe.“I guess. That girl is a princess. There's no way she'd be you.”“It's an insult to think a bonafide member of Storm Academy would be a girl.” He seemed convinced. “Right.” He muttered, stepping backwards. “I'll see you, Kaelyn.”I hoped not to see him, anywhere else. But a Prospect….it's impossible. He
KAELYN “Sit down.” Mason waved at me and I slowly skipped back into my seat. “What's wrong?” Davyn asked, “Why did you suddenly hit your hand that way?”I sighed as my eyes flickered back towards Evren and he's no longer there. What?I looked around. He's not in the cafeteria anymore. That signified the end of my lunch as I rushed out of my seat and left the building. My eyes caught him as he bent down the corner and I rushed towards him, almost bumping into him.He was waiting.I blinked, “You knew I was following you?”He looked at me, amused. “Isn't that much obvious?” I bit my lips hard. “You…what you did last night –”He stepped closer to me, cutting me off. “If I were you, Kaelyn, I'd stay away from me.” He turned, about to walk away.“Who on earth do you think you are?” I fired, stepping into his front. I didn't come to Storm Academy, passed through all those hurdles to get into the highest level I could attain, only to be bullied by someone who got it easily.Of a truth, o
KAELYN Commander Stone burned to look at me, a sterner gaze on his face. I sighed as I placed my fingers on each other, staring down…at my shoes.“Lying against the Prime Alpha Prince is a great offence, Altair.”They would never believe me. Exactly because of that position, the prime alpha prince. I gritted my teeth in defiance but I don't dare look up.Evren Vael. Trust me when I say I would get back at you for what you did today.“Ten frog jumps, Altair. If you take a rest, you start all over again.” I bit my lips so hard I felt blood in my lips.“Do you…understand?”“Yes–” my eyes pinned on Evren, “Commander Stone.”He titled his head, nodding me off, “Go on. You have ten minutes until the class starts.” My laps hurt badly as I did the frog jumps. It's not as easy as I thought it would be, not with Commander Stone staring at me from the front of the class.” He had enough time to pay to me for someone who is a commander.I looked away as I did the eighth jump.“Hey.” Someone ca
