Chapter 2

Author: Anonymous
The livestream was split in two frames, and I recognized one half of it—I had asked the doctor to film the video when I sold my blood.

Andy was crying his eyes out when he found out what I did, swearing that he would always be good to me and never let me down.

But in the livestream where Andy was reacting in real time, he was watching the video of me donating my blood in disgust.

The thought left my chest feeling crushed, and I couldn't breath.

So all those moments of happiness I felt were lies.

I tried to fight back my emotions, but my fingers couldn't stop shaking even as I tapped to play the livestream.

Hence, the video of me donating my blood started playing, while on the other hand, Andy was leaning into the arms of the women around him, while discussing my reaction with the friends he had supposedly fallen out with.

On top of that, the livestream topped the list, while the other videos at best had a few hundred or a few thousands views at best.

And in the video, every face was an heir or heiress from rich or powerful families.

"Oh, this is amazing! All Andy has to do is say that he's sick, and she's selling her blood for him!"

"On the sixteenth prank, she fell into the ocean… And on the fifteenth, she was sent flying in a car crash! Why is she so hard to kill?"

"Well, Andy already made it clear that if she survives until the end, he will marry her and swear off women!"

"One month to go! Will she die from the pranks, or marry into the Lawson family with pomp and circumstance?"

"I'm betting fifty mil that she dies tragically! Hahaha!"

"Kill her already! Or what, are you going to marry her?"

"Exactly! She's so stupid—what can she do even if she was brought to your family? Be your maid?"

"Pfft! What? Isn't she a maid already?"

That was when Andy frowned and said coolly, "I will marry her. She's smart and not stupid at all!"

I watched him intently from the other end of the screen, but his expression was cold, unlike his usually mild and clingy nature.

That was when someone blurted, "Oh, shit! Did you just take her side? Did that chick drug you or something?"

Andy stayed silent, while Sunny snickered, folding his arms before his chest with an expression of loftiness.

"Come on, what are you thinking?" He asked. "Don't you boys know my cousin? Mandy is the only one for him, while others are no more than cheap flings!"

"The prank was the only way Andy could get those crystal shoes that Mandy liked, or he wouldn't be hanging out with some bumpkin for five years!"

That was when my phone screen blacked out as the battery was flat.

I hung my head, sobbing endlessly as my love for Andy faded in turn.

So that was it? Andy toyed with me like a circus monkey just to get Mandy a pair of shoes?!

Still, my thoughts were interrupted by the coughs from inside Andy's hospital room, and he soon called out, "Jane? I'm thirsty!"

"She was pronounced dead at a hospital just yesterday morning. You have our condolences."All thoughts left Andy's mind, but the courier's response remained the same even though he kept pressing him in his disbelief.Devastated, he opened the document folder and found stacks of papers, recording call logs and chat history.Naturally, that meant every moment Jane was pranked, as well as the threats Sunny and Mandy had sent her.Andy was howling and bawling hysterically after going through everything.Jane had found out, but she gave him a chance anyway and asked him to stop lying. But he had to be stubborn, presuming that there was still time and Jane w

It was midnight on the hour of our fifth anniversary, as grand fireworks thundered in the dark night sky. "Don't you think it's beautiful?" Andy asked, smiling at me affectionately."Yeah," I replied flatly, my heart calm as I was no longer lovesick. He then dropped on one knee and took out a ring box, realizing the fantasy I had of him proposing. That was when Sunny came up to me, whispering into my ear, "Here comes the prank!"Even as my mind went blank, he pulled out a remote and pressed a button, and everyone's heads jerked around as a recording of Andy's voice boomed."I feel like I could get sick everytime I see Jane's face! She's actually eating leftovers out of a chute!""I wouldn't even date her, if I didn't have to get Mandy's favorite crystal shoes with this prank.""Someone like her is fated to be a garbage picker. My leg was too swollen to walk by the time I got off the hill, and I checked in at the nearest hotel I could find.Later, my mother called me again, urging me to head abroad since my illness couldn't wait.I realized that there was no point in staying too—it was true that I loved Andy, but he had also done much to hurt me.So it was time to part ways, and I didn't want to make things ugly.Sunny called me on video at 1 am, but I hung up without looking twice. He called again, and I answered, ready to snap, only to find Andy sitting alone, drinking. His eyes were puffy, and he looked like he was crying. One of his rich kid friends came and said, "Hey, did you know what I saw earlier? Jane was coughing blood!"Andy kept drinking in silence, while Sunny said, "Probably more of her tricks to tempt my cousin. But y'all know Andy—Mandy is the only one for him, and there's nothing Jane can do about it."Hilarious! Somehow, my illness was a trick!I watched as Andy finished his drink

After I had my sprain tended to, I overheard Andy snapping at Sunny and the others, "Are you people crazy?! We came out to have fun, but you had to kick her?"Sunny laughed as he threw an arm around his shoulders. "Come on—Mandy got a divorce for you. What would she think if she catches you babying another woman?"Andy shook his hand off and glowered, but said nothing. My heart in pieces, I continued alone up the hill. While I was looking forward to what pranks they had in store for me this time, I guessed Andy must have planned it himself this time around!Suddenly, my vision blackened and I fainted. When I opened my eyes again, I had been taken deep into the woods, with no one in sight aside from several pudgy middle-aged men.I had seen them in Andy's livestream—they were drinking with Andy at the time.Seeing me stir, they started to loosen their belts."Ho, she's quite hot! I wonder what she'd taste like!""Go on, get down on your knees and call me daddy!"I was curious
