Running through the final door, I let my body just collapse. Panting heavy, I’m drenched in sweat. My arms, legs, torso all burning with a pulse beneath my skin.

Glancing out the corner of my eye, I see Alex has managed to follow me. Moving, he moves to sit down next to me in the process.

“Nice job Amore Mio (My Love). You made it, you beat the game” he commended. Nodding, I just try to focus on my breathing. Pulling out his whistle he blows it. The sound loud enough to make me flinch as it reaches my ears.

Four long toots and the same low horn sounds signaling the end of the game. Remaining quiet, I suddenly hear lots of manly voices coming from behind us. Turning my head slowly, I steadily watch as all the men, including Lucus, Tony, and Grant all come through the door. Huge smiles playing on their faces as the last two guards drag in Caleb and Angel without care.

    Today had been quite a tedious day inside the city. Lucus and Grant had a board meeting with one of our local companies that lasted 6 fucking hours. Like seriously. So, while they handled that Tony and I decided to make our monthly trip around the city. Stopping by some of our businesses. Normally, one of us would always try to at least go into the city, typically once a month to surprise our investments and local businesses. After all we did own like half the city threw physical ownership all thanks to Grant. Owning multiple establishments such as Clubs, Bars, Hotels and Office Buildings did lots. We even made it a habit of investing quite a bit of money into local places to provide them with added security, for a small price of course. The police were even on our side.
