vanessa's POV

"Vanessa, are you sick?" Andreas' voice on the other end of the line was loud. I could feel his concern in his tone of voice.

I moved my phone and flanked it more comfortably as my hand pressed the elevator button while the other was busy looking for something in the bag.

"I heard from Dad when I got home that you were in the hospital." I was still listening and taking in his words. "Are you okay? I'll be there in a moment."

My eyes opened wide, and my head which had been tilted from flanking the phone, was now in a straight position after my hand took over the phone and moved it to my other ear. "You don't have to come." I spontaneously refused Andreas to come to see me.

What did he want to do here? It was quite troublesome that Andreas was too interested in me. I stare at the numbers that show the floor number is constantly changing.
