Of all the men in this world, it had to be him? Zaiden Alvaro? Cyra's beryl orbs still couldn't believe that she was seeing that man in front of her again from whom she was wanting to escape. She wanted to run away from his very presence because she could sense that every inch of his being was going to torment her brutally.
She saw his indistinct blue eyes gazing at her which immediately brimmed the corner of her own eyes with tears. Cyra was not the kind of person to cry so easily but this man's mere gaze was enough to scare the life out of her. It was like his eyes held the power of trapping her in that cage of sin which he solely possessed but little did Cyra know at that moment that….he might possess that cage of sin but she was going to be its real sinner.
Keeping his eyes connected with hers, his feet made their way towards her direction which froze Cyra. She wanted to run, she wanted to scream, she wanted to hide but all she could force her body to do was just stand there and watch that dreadful menace coming closer to her in an expensive dark black tuxedo, just like his demeanor which felt more obscure than his clothes’ color.
His feet halted right in front of her and Cyra couldn't even dare to take her eyes away from him. No, she was not mesmerized by the beguiling allure of his icy blue eyes or his perfectly sculptured face and body. She was trapped by that invincible aura which he was carrying with him.
“Zaiden, meet Cyra. She is Mr and Mrs Merciez 'only child and their beloved princess,” Cyra heard her aunt Leora’s voice which came as a fainted noise to her ears because her entire focus was completely attained by that man in front of her whose eyes were still fixed at her.
Cyra saw him lifting his palm and extending it towards her but she just continued to stare at him and made no efforts to return his gesture until
“Cyra….” She heard her mother's loud voice which snapped her back into reality. She finally took her eyes down and looked towards his extended palm. That palm which had touched every inch of her skin that night in her drugged state.
Her heart ached more awfully which made Cyra clench her fists but she kept her mouth sealed and then lifted her own hand. She touched his palm and felt him holding back her hand which immediately shook something inside her. The familiar warmth and roughness of his touch made her get flashes of that night and how it was caressing, gripping and embracing her body as his.
‘Ple…. please don't stop,’
Her eyes blurred with more tears as she started having those flashbacks of that night and how she was begging him to ruin her more and more.
“It's a pleasure to know you, Ms. Merciez,” his familiar gravelly voice made Cyra take her eyes upward to look at him. Her glossy vision peered at him while she felt his thumb gently caressing the back of her hand which turned Cyra overwhelmed with her own emotions.
Her tears threatened to fall from her eyes, so she immediately took her hand back from him and then turned around to hide her tears from their families.
Cyra was attempting to secretly wipe her unshed tears when she felt him stepping closer to her to stand behind her, like he was trying to shield her from the eyes of their families but she knew it was not possible. Why would he help her in hiding her tears from this world when he himself had given them to her?
“Son, come here and meet Mr and Mrs Merciez,” Cyra heard her aunt Leora telling his son which made Cyra turn around after she cleared her vision.
She saw him walking towards her parents where he extended his palm towards her father, Arran who shook his hand with his and then placed his palm over his shoulder.
“Glad to finally meet you, Zaiden,” she heard her father saying to him and in return, he just slowly wagged his head. Cyra had numerous times witnessed people getting intimidated by her father's powerful aura but he seemed completely unbothered, let alone getting affected by her father's dominating presence. It clearly told Cyra that he was not afraid of anyone or anything and that fact was soul-drenching for her.
“You have turned out to be a handsome gentleman, son,” She saw her mother gently patting his cheek and he just took his eyes down in front of her mother as a gesture of respect but only Cyra knew what kind of gentleman he was and how much he respected others.
“Okay, everyone. It's already quite late, so let's have dinner,” Leora said, earning a smile from Cyra's mother and a nod from her husband and then they all started walking towards the dining hall.
Cyra, who continued to remain standing in her place, felt someone touching her arm which made her flinch because every touch under his presence was scaring her now but when she tilted her head, she saw her father.
“Are you alright, princess?” her father asked her whereas Cyra tensed up more, seeing her father's keen eyes staring at her. Her father, Arran Merciez, was an extremely sharp headed man and his eyes were sharper than his mind and his daughter knew about this thing really very well.
Cyra slowly shook her head and passed her father a forced smile in order to act like everything was fine.
“Everything is fine, dad,” she uttered, earning a soft nod from her father.
“Come then,” she wagged her head, hearing her father but unintentionally, her eyes snapping towards that specific direction where she saw him standing. His sapphire eyes were already on her which paced up the beating of her heart.
Cyra immediately looked away from him and followed her father to the dining table like a little kid who was terrified of that blue-eyed ghost chasing after her. But was he really chasing her or was she waiting for him to chase her? The answer was alarming.
……………..
“So you studied business law and management abroad?” Cyra heard her father asking him. They all were settled on the dining table, having their dinner except for her, whose appetite had died completely since the moment she had found this man in front of her, who was also sitting in front of her now.
She saw him nodding at her father.
“Yes, he completed his studies and after that, he even took an internship in a different company there to practically learn about their work laws, ethics and management. Not just only in studies but also in the practical learning field, my son has always defeated his competitors with full grades,” Cyra saw her uncle Caius uttering with that proud smile on his face which revealed how proud he was of his son.
“And now I am going to hand over my business to him,” Cyra saw Caius turning his head towards his son.
“Because I know my son will take care of my legacy and my name with full potential,” Caius uttered to him and Cyra saw him nodding at his father before he trailed his eyes towards his sister, Keana, who was busy eating her food.
His eyes suddenly travelled in her direction again and this made Cyra immediately downcast her eyes to her plate. She didn't even want to have eye contact with him.
“And Cyra dear, what are your plans now for the future as you have completed your graduation?” She heard Caius asking her.
“I am planning on going out of the country to get an admission in my dream university to start my further studies,” as soon as those words escaped from her mouth, Cyra heard a loud thudding noise which made her immediately look in his direction, along with everyone else.
“Zaiden, are you alright?” Keana asked her brother, who had just slammed the glass of water on the table, almost cracking it.
“I am fine,” he answered his sister before trailing his piercing eyes in Cyra's direction and a chill ran down her spine, seeing that formidable calmness in his eyes which told her that there was nothing calm about them. Something had triggered him but what?
Cyra lowered her eyes and started fiddling with her food. She needed to get out of here. She was feeling suffocated here, especially under his presence, so intentionally Cyra grabbed the glass of juice and pulled it closer.
Looking here and there, she intentionally hitted her hand on that glass and let it spill the juice on her clothes.
“Oh….” She instantly stood up on her feet and started cleaning her dress.
“Cyra, baby, what happened?” her mother asked her, getting up but she shook her head.
“I am fine. I will use the washroom to clean it up,” she said.
“Should I come with you?” Keana asked her but Cyra waggled her head in denial.
“I will manage,” saying that she twirled around and dashed out of there, unaware that those cerulean eyes watched everything and how smartly, she attempted to escape from him but only to fall deeper in his web.
Entering inside the bathroom, she hurriedly locked it and then ran towards the basin. She opened the tap and splashed some water on her face to calm herself down. She couldn't turn weak at this point. She needed to fight this but how? When she didn't even know whether there was a battle going around or not?
She needed to talk to someone regarding this and she knew the only person who could help her in this was her friend, Leena. Taking her phone out from her pocket, Cyra called her friend.
“Hello, Leena?”
“Cyra? Are you alright? Why are you sounding so tense?” Leena immediately sensed that worry and fear in her alone which watered Cyra's eyes.
“Leena, it was h…. him. He is h…here,” she told her friend in her breaking voice.
“Who? What are you talking about? Who is there?” She heard her questioning back, confused.
“That man from that night. He is here and he is Zaiden Alvaro, Caius Alvaro’s son,”
“What?” Leena sounded appalled.
“How could this be possible? He is….wait a minute. Did it mean that he was the one who drugged you last night to take advantage of your vulnerable state?” Leena's conclusion froze Cyra's heart.
“Because it could not be just a coincidence. That you ended up sleeping with him in a drugged state where countless other people were present around you both, so how come no one saw you?” a tear rolled down from Cyra's eyes, hearing her because her every statement made sense.
“I think, you should talk to your parents regarding this because if he had drugged you that night then it meant, his intentions had always been wrong for you and who knows, they still are, so you shouldn't be around him,” Cyra thoroughly heard her every word.
“I think you're right. I shouldn't be hiding this from my parents. I will talk to them,” she said, wiping her eyes.
“Be careful. Stay away from him, especially when no one would be around you,”
“Okay….” Saying that Cyra disconnected the call and exhaled a heavy breath. She needed to put an end to all of this and this could only be possible if she would tell her parents the truth. Besides, that person needed to be severely punished for that inhumanity he did to her by drugging her and taking advantage of her.
Clutching her phone tightly in her hand, Cyra took a last glance at her reflection and then left the bathroom.
She had just taken a couple of steps out of that bathroom but her feet froze in pure dread, seeing him in front of her again.
His pitiless azure eyes were already peering at her but Cyra's existence numbed when she saw him taking his predatory steps in her direction, especially when no one was around them. What worst he was going to do with her now?

Her feet paused. Cyra felt like her heart had come to her mouth by seeing him right in front of her again. His predacious gaze told her that he had been waiting for her and this alerted her. Cyra clenched her palms and attempted to walk away from there because she couldn’t make that dare to stay alone with this man, even for a single second. Cyra just took a step of her but her body forced her to stand still as her eyes witnessed him coming closer to her.She knew she should be running away from him but seeing him coming closer to her, her feet refused to get away from him. Was it because of the fear of getting chased by him or was it something more deep and dark? Her blood ran cold, seeing him eliminating the distance between their bodies. His eyes dared her to look away from him and like a compliant slave, her eyes submitted to his unsaid warning without even trying to fight. What had happened to her?Suddenly his phone started ringing which he was holding in his hand and Cyra saw
Completely numb, Cyra saw that man coming closer to her who had now started becoming like the biggest sin of her life. Her grip tightened around her phone and this time she forced her feet to listen to the voice of her mind….that she should keep her distance from him.His eyes caught her walking back but at the same time, they also noticed that broken railing behind her which her eyes could not catch because of the darkness of the night.“If you were so curious to know about me then you could have just come to me and ask me whatever you want to know about me?” He uttered to her, calmly like they both were each other's best friends, so she could directly ask him anything about his own self. His feet continued to eliminate the distance between their bodies while her steps also didn't stop from reducing that elimination of distance between them.“I could have given you a better and more detailed illustration about what kind of person I am, mi amor,” his words made Cyra swallow.“How do yo
“Did you think, Ms. Merciez?” Frigid, Cyra gazed at him. She really never thought about those consequences which were going to occur once she would tell everything to everyone and her apprehensive expression said that all to him.“You will tell your father regarding all of this and this would ruin our families’ relations. It would break our fathers’ decades of friendship,” he uttered and it continued to fill her with more and more fright when she attempted to look upon the coming aftermath.“Your father will believe you but it won't be the same from my father's side because he will believe his own son rather than you. Then, this matter might go in the hands of the police and then it will get revealed in front of the entire world where ….” He paused and looked into her beryl eyes more keenly where he saw that terror gleaming in them.“Every person in this entire country might get aware of how Caius Alvaro's son drugged Arran Merciez’s daughter to take advantage of her and then….the pol
The cold breeze of the night continued to shudder her body but it could not shiver that fear Cyra's heart had been feeling at that moment by seeing that pernicious calmness in his cerulean eyes. That serene smile remained intact on his face, even though he knew he was pushing both of them on that treacherous edge of losing their lives but none of this could fade that repose look on his face and this told her what kind of menacing insanity he possessed inside him.“Give that phone to me, Ms. Merciez,” she heard him saying to her. His hand tightly gripped her wrist which caused more tears to roll down from her eyes. How could someone be this crazy? He was playing with both of their lives just to make her lose, even if that loss involved losing their own lives?Cyra refused to give up to his madness and tightly gripped her phone. She knew she should scream for help. Her parents would definitely listen to her screams of her help and might even succeed in saving her from this man's madness
“Cyra Devil Alvaro,” amiably breathing that name against her mouth, he pressed his lips against her delicate ones which froze Cyra for a brief moment, especially when she heard that name escaping from his mouth and what it actually meant. Cyra Devil Alvaro…..Cyra Zaiden Alvaro. That mere name had started evoking countless emotions inside her which she had never felt before. He gently sucked on her lower lip, taking Cyra out of her deep thoughts. She finally realised how her mind got fixed at that name instead of focusing on how his mouth was touching her without her consent. How irrational she had turned?Cyra immediately turned her head away in order to stop him from kissing her. She thought he was going to be aggressive with her for denying his touch and might hurt her too but he just stopped kissing her and then pressed his forehead against her temple which felt more terrifying than his kiss, to her? Why did this man behave so calmly whenever she expected him to be angry? His calmn
“What were you doing on the terrace, Cyra?” Cyra heard her mother asking her as soon as she entered the hall where her parents were present, along with his parents and Keana. “Leena called me, so I was talking with her, mum,” Cyra lied because she knew she didn't have the guts to tell anyone present there regarding what happened with her on the terrace and by whom, so lying seemed to be the easiest thing to do at that moment to her.“Is everything alright?” Cyra heard her mother asking her again and she understood her mother might have sensed that apprehension on her face which she was trying to conceal.Cyra wagged her while trying to pass a forced smile to her mother but her attempt to smile failed as soon as she saw him entering the hall. His cerulean eyes were already on her but Cyra looked away from him.“I will be back in a minute,” Cyra said to her mother, confusing her.“Where are you going now?” Her mother asked, getting up from the sofa.“In the garden,” she answered, bewild
Horrified, Cyra watched that old lady, Clara, who was also one of the oldest house staff in the Alvaro manor, standing in front of them. Clara’s wrinkled eyes watched them, a bit appalled. She caught them like this. Cyra saw Clara lowering her eyes which made her immediately detach herself from his arms. Her entire body started trembling in fear because she didn't even know what would happen if Clara would tell their parents about what she saw here. “I….” Cyra lost her words. She didn't even know what to say.Clara took her head upward. Cyra thought she was going to ask something to them but Clare trailed her eyes towards him.“Your father is calling you both inside,” she told him and Cyra saw him wagging his head in his reply to Clara. After receiving his answer, Clara turned around and left, leaving Cyra completely startled behind her. What just happened here? Why didn't Clara ask anything to them after catching her in his arms? Was she going to tell their parents everything now? T
“I am missing you, mi amor,” For a brief moment, her heart went numb. That longing in his gravelly voice, that yearning in his words did something to her. He was sounding like he was begging his fate to just get a glimpse of her again and this made Cyra feel needed. What was she even thinking?“Then make sure to find a river and get yourself drowned inside it,” she spat back in the call, ignoring those irrational thoughts of her mind. Cyra heard him chuckling at her answer which caused her to frown.“Sounds like a good idea but it won't be fun doing it all alone, so mind joining me, Ms. Merciez?” His words made her clench her jaw. “Shut the fuck up and don't act like you are my friend or something,” she seethed out at him because Cyra had her enough. How could he behave like everything was normal between them when her life had turned into a mess just because of him? “Did I ever tell you that I want to be your friend?” He questioned her back, filling her with more anger.“No, you di
Their eyes widened, seeing Allura and Lieve dancing in the rain with the kids. And now they all understood what had been taking them so long to get back inside.A smile formed on Zace's face as he watched his wife jumping and dancing like a kid with their daughter and niece. His eyes got stuck at his allure. He knew how much she loved dancing and singing. It had always been her dream, because this dream held the essence of freedom for her, and she had always needed to feel this freedom. And she had finally received it.His allure had finally received the bliss of freedom.“Wow, it seems so fun,” Arezko uttered, looking at them. “Come on. We can't waste this beautiful moment, dear wife,” Arezko grabbed Aivren's hand and dragged her outside in the rain. “Aren't you both supposed to bring the kids inside?” Aivren asked both Lieve and Allura, who were laughing with the kids while holding their hands.“No, mumma. We are dancing. You need to dance too,” Aivren and Arezko chuckled, hearing
“You got less marks than me. You are dumbo,”That 9 year old girl silently listened to her classmate, Ralph, annoying and troubling her because he had gotten two more marks than her in their class test. But she kept her mouth quiet because her mum had taught her if she could deal with something calmly then she should definitely do it. Besides, her mum had taught her if someone was saying something bad about her that didn't mean she was bad.She knew she was a good girl.Closing her book, she thought about taking her notebook out to write down what she had learnt in her book. She took out her notebook from her school bag and was about to open it, but her classmate, Ralph, snatched her notebook from her.“Don't write anything. You are already a dumbo,” he uttered to her and even pulled one of her ponytails, and that was enough for her calmness. The little girl stood up from her bench. Snatching back her notebook from him, she slammed it on his face, because just like her mum had taught h
Luther.Lieve was bewildered by seeing him at her door at that time of the night.“What are you doing here?” Lieve asked him. He didn't answer first, but just observed that slight redness of her intoxication in her eyes. His silence irritated her.“Use your mouth and answer,” she spat at him. He sighed.“You wouldn't need the use of my mouth if you could clearly use your own head, Ms. Elzere,” he answered her in a respectful tone, but his words wrecked up her mood very badly. He had been working for Zace for years now, and had also proven his loyalty to him which Zace appreciated. Besides, he knew he couldn't harm Luther in the very first place because he was his wife's friend, and hurting him would hurt Allura, so Zace never attempted to harm Luther further. But as much as Zace appreciated Luther for his loyalty towards him, Lieve and Luther had never gotten along well, even after working together for three years for the same person. Probably, their beginning had not been that pleas
Frozen, Allura looked down at that man, who had gotten on his knees for her. The man, who had never bowed in front of anyone but his love made him happily kneel before her, and especially in front of their entire family.Allura was speechless. She had never expected him to do something like this, especially before their whole family. She continued to just gaze into his beguiling teal eyes, which were filled with that alluring love that she had evoked in him and it just belonged to her.Only her.“Say yes….Allura, because he has been freaking out like a creep just by thinking about your refusal, so if you would really refuse him, then he would surely turn into a real creep,” Arezko uttered, making Zace frown. Everyone chuckled, whereas a smile formed on Allura's face, but at the same time, tears shimmered in her eyes.Instead of accepting his proposal, she also crouched down in front of him, and then slowly cupped his face in front of everyone. Leaning her face closer to his, she placed
“Now, I pronounce you both as a lawfully wedded husband and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Pryor,” the priest announced in front of everyone after the bride and groom shared their wedding vows.Beautiful smiles were playing on both of their faces because a friendship, which had begun in their childhood, finally turned into the most alluring shade of eternity after enduring so many ups and downs, but they never gave up. Their love never gave up.And in the end, they won. Their love won.“Now you may kiss the bride,” Aivren's cheeks flushed whereas her smile widened, seeing her husband stepping closer to her where he cupped her face.“I love you so much, my sunshine,” Arezko breathed out those words to the only love of his life. The girl, whom he had surrendered everything to, and that girl had finally become his woman, his wife, his better half.He pressed his mouth against hers, making Aivren slowly close her eyes. She wrapped her arms around him.“I love you more,” she whispered in between thei
“You are looking extremely pretty, Aiv,” A smile formed on Aivren's face, hearing those words of Allura's. And not just only Aivren, Keana and Cyra, who were also present inside that room beamed at her words.“Wait a minute,” Allura grabbed a beautiful shimmering hair pin and attached it to Aivren's wedding veil to make sure it remained intact throughout her wedding ceremony. Yes, today was Aivren and Arezko's wedding. It had been almost four years since Aivren had recovered from her coma, and fortunately now she was completely healthy and fine, so both the lovers decided to tie their knot in a bond of forever. After all, they both had waited for years to be with each other, especially Arezko, who had submitted his whole life in taking care and loving his Aivren with no conditions.Their family was extremely happy, but the most excited person for their wedding was Zace's beautiful and naive creature, who was going to witness a wedding for the very first time in her 21 years of life.
Allura didn't even know what to answer his father, so she looked in between both the men and took her eyes down towards the floor. These Alvaro men were really scary like devils, even though they loved their families with everything.Zaiden understood her hesitancy, so he sighed and then looked towards his son.“The weather is still very bad outside, so you both should stay here for the night,” Zaiden suggested to which Allura agreed but Zaiden's son didn't seem to agree with him.“We are not going to stay here,” he uttered to his father.Allura looked towards Zace, and found him staring at his father with no warmth or gentleness. It made her frown. How could he not love his own parents? Especially when they both were so sweet and good people? He really had some issues with hating the entire world.Zaiden sighed at his son's stubbornness, but before he could say anything, he heard Allura speaking up.“I am not going out in this weather,” Allura spat at Zace, gaining his attention on h
Zace curled his fists but didn't counter back. He continued to look down towards the floor while his state brought more tears in Allura’s eyes, who had gotten numbed in shock by witnessing his father hitting him because of her.“That’s enough of your fucking madness, Zace Alvaro. Leave her life. She has nothing to do with what Arran Vezar had done to our family,” Zaiden seethed at his son, believing his son was still after her life because of the fact that she was Arran Vezar's granddaughter. And it was not acceptable to Zaiden that his own child would end up destroying an innocent life.“I have never objected to any of your choices but not this,” Zace dug his nails harder against his palm, hearing his father's every word.“You will stay away from her from now on, and I am repeating myself for one last time,” Zaiden glowered at his son's lowered head. “Do not even think about destroying her life because of your sick madness for her,” Zaiden warned his son for one last time, who slowly
A warmly beautiful and fuzzy feeling ignited in his heart the moment he heard her screaming his name for her safety and comfort. Yes, when he came here to get her, he was outraged. How dared she could leave him after everything that had happened between them? Why couldn't she just understand how much he loved her and needed her? But no, she continued to run away from him every single time she got, and that had left him with a burning fury.So when he came here, he came with the intention of dragging her away from here with him, so that he could punish her in his own ways for being so stubborn, but the moment he heard her terror calling for him to retain her safety, his anger faded. She had finally started feeling and seeking her safety in him. The second she felt her fear, she decided to take his name for help. She had started trusting him to this extent, so how could he punish her now? Well, he would still teach her a lesson for leaving him alone but now in a way that would surely ma
