Rohan

I killed the engine as I stopped at the gates before stepping out of the car. There, I found Jarred talking to two guards by the gates. I knew them very well. They were Hansel and Harrison. Fraternal twins. When Harrison spotted me, their conversation ended and Jarred walked up to me.

“What’d you got for me, Jarred?” I asked.

Jarred sighed with a smile on his face.

“Well. Nothing so far,” he replied.

I rolled my eyes at that. What else should I have expected? There was nothing I could do. They were gone. Left without a trace. Just like every other time.

“Last night Harrison and the rest of the patrol team had caught them just a few yards outside our borders. They went after them, but they were faster than us, Rohan.”

I clenched my jaws at that. No. That couldn’t be true. If they were adapting, it would be too late for us to stop them. We had to end this quickly, or I would risk losing more than just Rachel.

“Where did you find them?” I asked.

“They were lingering just by

RohanI stood on the porch of Anna’s house contemplating whether I should go in. It was dark now, and the crickets sang loudly. I shouldn’t be here. I should be home, getting some rest. But after the confrontation that happened between us in the parking lot, I couldn’t help but feel powerless. She was my mate, and she was having twins which must be difficult for her. She needed a shoulder to lean on. My shoulder. But I hadn’t been there. But now was the time to change that. Well, there was still time. But I felt uneasy. What if she realizes that she doesn’t need me? What if she decides to head back to Blue Valley? Could I stop her? No. It would be her decision. I was confused about my thoughts. Why was I thinking so much? We weren’t together. We both just realized that we were mates. And she’d told me to reject her. Which I didn’t. I ran my fingers through my hair in frustration. What’s wrong with me? I was slowly losing it. I’d battled a decades-old vampire, and yet I was scared t

  • The Forgotten Luna   Chapter Ninety-Two

DamonThe SUV came to a halt at the driveway of the house. How long has it been since I was here? Two weeks. That seemed like a long time. I was surprised that the pack was still in one piece. Well, not that surprising because my father was in charge. He would know how to handle everything. The songs of the crickets grew louder as I stepped out of the car. I wonder what I was going to tell Sophie when I got inside. I was certain that she was worried for days. I hadn’t been able to communicate with her because I’d been stuck in the hospital and chasing Isaiah. It was all too much but that excuse won’t be enough to get me out of the trouble that was coming. The purple skies free darker as twilight faded away slowly. Night was fast approaching, and it was time I got some rest. It’s been a long two weeks. Longer than I’d imagined. As I walked towards the house, the door swung open and Sophie stepped out. Sis was dressed in a white gown with her blonde hair falling down her shoulders. H

Rohan “Do you think we should call him again?” Dayton asked as he watched me fiddle with my phone. I wasn’t sure it was a good idea, but I hated being kept in suspense. If something was wrong with Damon, it was only right that we would help him. It had been raining heavily for a few hours which made me wonder what happened to him. The rain wasn’t a good sign. If Cassian got Damon, then we had a tough mission on our hands. No. Maybe I was being paranoid. Damon was big enough to take care of himself. There was no way that he would lose to someone like Isaiah. Even though he had trashed us in the opera. “Rohan?” Dayton called, snapping me back to reality. I shook my head before answering. “No. He’ll be fine,” I said leaning off the wall. “Right now, we have to look for a way to find Cassian’s castle. There was only one person who knew where it was, and that was Isaiah. With him out of our sights, the mission is in jeopardy.”Dayton sighed and rubbed his forehead. His wounds had hea

DamonThe storm subsided as I stepped into the house in my human form. I was naked, wet, and cold. A terrible combo. The door had been pulled off its hinges leaving the house open. The porch was damp with rain and so was part of the living room. The living room was also a mess. The broken center table and some other furniture lay waste on the floor. I was going to be hated once Daphne got back. That was why I wasn’t going to wait until she got back. I needed to be out of here and fast. But I couldn’t go without some new clothes. The door swung open and Cole stepped into the room with a pair of brand new clothes. He grinned as he handed them over to me. I looked at him in confusion. He had seen me shapeshift into a monster. A big bad wolf and yet he wasn’t scared of me. It was either humans were stupid or I underestimated them. “Here. These are my dad’s fresh out of the laundry,” he said. I got it from him immediately and slipped into them. A flappy shirt with multicolored strips

Cassian The figure in the darkness moved towards me and I couldn’t help but stifle a chuckle. This was one of my oldest prisoners. He’d been here for more than a decade, and I was certain he was getting tired. But I wasn’t going to let him go until I was done with him. “Have you come down here to watch me wallow in suffering?” A male voice asked. It was hoarse, plagued with wariness and revenge. I shoved my hands into the pockets of my suit and smiled at him. “You don’t have to worry about that, Sybil. You will be free soon,” I lied. “What?” I heard him growl from the depths of the cell. And in a flash, he appeared before me, his hands grasping the cell bars. That was when his face was revealed. His hair had grown bigger than I imagined. His face was covered with dirt and his blue eyes were dull. This wasn’t how I remembered them. They were once bright and filled with life. Well, he was much younger then. “Yes, Sybil. I will free you once you carry out my wish,” I said with a c

  • The Forgotten Luna   Chapter Eighty-Eight

Cassian“You must keep your promise, Cassian,” Vivian said, slamming her hand on the desk. “You promised!”I was getting irritated as I stared at her. She was nagging again and it made me wonder what I’d done to deserve this. If given her everything she ever wanted—eternal life, power, love, and every gold that glittered. But still, that wasn’t enough. She was looking for something more. Something more valuable than every other thing I’d given her. The ability to walk under the sun like me. It was difficult for something like that to happen. If required time and practice. But I could understand her because I’d promised this decades ago. And still, there was no progress. “I’ve told you, Vivian. I need a bit more time,” I reminded her. “This isn’t something you can rush into.”She furrowed her brow as she stared at me. “Is that your way of telling me that you aren’t going to do it anymore?”I furrowed my brows at that. I was getting tired of digesting her insolence. It was only a matt
