"We have to get out of here," I groan, getting back to my feet and offering Knight my hand. Since I promised to protect my little brother, that's exactly what I'll do.
"Can't we just sit here for a little while? I'm so tired, Kaven," he whimpers, pulling his knees closer to his chest.
"It's okay, I can carry you. But we can't stay here; the Guardians will notice that we left." Knight's eyes light up as soon as I mention I'll carry him.
