Chapter 31
"Well I see you still haven't lost your touch." John mumbled after a quick glance around the room seeing Collen's handy work.
"Some things you can't forget even if you wish to. Was there much trash up top there?" Collen asked flicking his eyes towards the girls.
"Ah there was some but I kicked it to the side." John said grasping what Collen was indicating. They were in fact talking about dead bodies Collen was making sure it was clear for the girls. John had encountered some resistance, but the men were far from professional soldiers, some rent a thugs who were given guns, and a few people that may have had some security credentials. After killing any resistance he encountered, John's men moved to secure the out perimeter while gathering up the bodies and moving them out of sight.
"Ok Alison were going upstairs, you can open your eyes now. Keep your eyes on my friends back until we're on the next floor okay? He's the one that's in front of you."
