"Why god Why!?" Collen cried out his face planted into his desk. People all around their office simply ignored the outburst. This was nothing new to them. They were unfortunately quite accustomed to such outbursts coming from Collen's desk. Evelyn seemed to enjoy his torment of enduring paperwork. So she would just pile it on him any time she wished to torture him.

"Rough day?"

Collen lift his head from the desk to find a face peaked around the cubicle. It was quite obvious by the expression the man was trying his best not to laugh. This man was James, Collen's so called desk partner. The only thing that divided them was a small divider splitting their desk down the middle. James was an office clerk, oddly enough despite it being an important job, most people looked down on it, the pair together were considered the undesirables of the office.
