It was around 12 midnight when a sudden thumping sound was heard just outside Autumn's window, it took a while before she could wake up after all she was a bad sleeper, she woke up and ran towards her window and on seeing who it was she opened up, it wasn't like she was expecting any guests and yet there they were, looking up at her with a smile on. Her cheecks brightened, but when she looked down, she hid her smile and frowned. "Melanie, what are you doing." She whispered.
Melanie frowned at her, disappointed at her response, "you know what, I guess I change my mind, I'll leave." Melanie said turning away.
"Melanie wait. What's the matter?" She asked. She poked her head out of the window and waved for Melanie to stop. Melanie smiled at her behavior and returned.
"Today's my birthday so... I was wondering if you could come."
"Ohh..., a birthday." Before anyone would say a word, the ghoul pushed his way to the window with a rush. "Can I come, will Freddie be there?" Kazu said as he poked his head outside the window.
"Hi Kazu." Freddie waved.
"No Kazu, you need to remain a secret remember." Autumn said, kazu's smile faded away and he replied.
"Oh, how unfortunate of me." His face clouded with sadness, one cute enough for Autumn to not simply ignore no matter how hard she would try to.
"Am sorry, I didn't mean it that way, um, please come on, don't get upset. Fine you can come with me, but you'll return about an hour before we do okay." She said, his mood brightened and he immediately was standing next to Melanie.
"Ready." He shouted as he waved from below.
"Okay am coming down." Without thinking twice, the rebel jumped through the window and landed on her feet, since it wasn't too high it wasn't a trouble for sge to land successfully. "So, where are we going?" She asked.
She had completely no idea of where they were headed so she didn't brace her for the shock she would have recieved.
And soon she finds herself in, "okay when I meant where are we going, I meant for your birthday, so why are we at the ghost campus."
Melanie smiled as she walked closer to the building. "Hey, Its my birthday, okay, so I want to make the most of it since my parents are being such a bummer right now besides you're not the only rebel you know we all like breaking the law at some point.." Melanie said, she walked around the school, looking for something.
"Is that why we have to break in. Melanie wake up, we're gonna get into trouble." Autumn whispered.
"Since when did you care about trouble, I thought you loved this kinda stuff." Kazu said.
"So what are we looking for exactly?" She asked, but Melanie shushed her, there was a feeling Melanie couldn't shake off, she could sense the presence of more than one soul lingering around the school. Without haste, Melanie kept feeling the school walls and then she stopped, she kept her ear close to the wall and knocked three times, it sounded hollow and soon they heard a knock from inside.
"Nebula open." She said, soon a door became visible and she walked in. "This way." She said. They began climbing up the stairs and arrived in the janitor's room Melanie opened the door and walked around the school with Autumn and Kazu when he stopped, everyone stopped. They were staring at each other with fear in their eyes, it wasn't for nothing, even Kazu could feel it too.
"Someone's coming." Kazu said.
"Mel, what do we do now." Autumn asked, the strong presence they felt was enough to paralyzed them, bringing them down on their knees as they tried to control their breathing, cold sweat dropping down from their faces.Kazu frowned when he saw this, he looked ahead with disgust as he went deeper into the empty lane, while the girls crawled into a corner to hide from the strong presence, slowly, there were footsteps being heard and then it stopped.
They could hear a cry for help coming from behind, "ouch, would you please let me go Kazu, you're gonna break me." The loud voice kept repeating Kazu's name in it's call for help.
"Ghosts, have no bone Aidan. Now call it off or else I might end you a second time." Kazu said. It was then that the heavy presence slowly died down, they could finally breathe and be at ease, as they crawled out to meet the person responsible. Aidan hid his guilty face with a smile as Jay and the others came out.
"Sorry for scaring you girls." Jay's voice sounded through the hall, the girls came out and breathe a sigh of relief."Phew, took you long enough." She turned towards Aidan who tries his best to avoid their gazes while mocking them with a laugh. Furious she lashed out at the ghost and grabbed his shirt, "and you Aidan, why the hell did you follow us, and why we're you trying to scare us like that, and what the hell was that power." Melaine said.
"Well, we were partly responsible too, we piured out our energy and that happened." Jay said as he rose his hand in excuse.
Aidan walked away from Melanie and moved straight to Autumn, looking her straight in the eyes with no intention of backing down. "And Autumn, what where you thinking when you left without me." He yelled. She turned away, and laughed with guilt, "...well, it's not like you can't come along, I mean I have you wherever I go so it's not my fault you were out at home when I left."
"Give it a rest you guys, the kid was just tryna get to you." Adam said as he came out of hiding. The two of them finally let go of each other.
"Seems like we are all here." Melanie said.
"Yes but, where's Daniel and Emily?" Melanie asked.
"We're here." Emily shouted, They were finally complete. The others drew near as Emily handed Melanie her a bag, she went on her knees and unzipped it revealing a remote control lizard.
"What's that for?" Daniel asked, she placed it on the ground and stood before them.
She cleared her throat and smiled cheekily. "The reason I brought us here was this, I have some info on the principal and his safe safe. He usually locks up items of a dangerous ghost or ghoul in that safe, but from what someone else told me, there is one safe the principal keeps a secret, it has a certain ghoul locked in it because he has some information of his past, I don't know what his secret is but we better watch out for him." Melanie said,
"A ghoul?, as in Kazu?" Autumn asked.
"Yep, now help me set up these lizards, they are attached to video cameras and would help us spy on the principal starting tomorrow." They spread out and placed it everywhere secretive to remain as hidden as possible and ran to their school block, away from the ghost academy.
They ran towards their school but the door was locked, they tried but to no avail, "hold on let me try." She took out a clip and began picking the lock, she listened, twisted and turned before it clicked open."Wow, you pick locks. I guess you do come in handy." Kazu said, he took a picture of her and put it away.
"What was that for?" She asked.
"Memories. I want to be able to remember this night as the day you trespassed and picked the lock of a private property." They walked inside and laughed out loud, Autumn frowned as she put back her hair clip on.
They quietly walked in, careful not to alert anything, they slumped you the floor and laughed till their hearts content. "Can't believe we pulled it off." Adam said.
"Yeah, let's just hope he never finds out." Jay said. He sat upright and grabbed the bag from Melaine. "Now that its over. What about that birthday toast." Jay raised a bottle of wine and smiled. Kazu had a video camera in hand, and kept following Autumn around with it.
"Cut it out Kazu." She yelled, he caught a glimpse of her blushing and kept following her.
"Just one pose." He said, she couldn't take it anymore, she pushed the camera away but he still faced it towards her, she was smiling and he made sure he had that recorded.
They stopped, watching in shock as Autumn smiled, it was a rare sight to behold. "Am I seeing things." Emily asked.
The other quietly observed as she buried her face in embarrassment. "Am not sure, but if you're seeing things then I am too, Autumn's totally blushing." Melanie said as the teased the girl all night long.
As if nothing had happened, no one could even remember, why or what they were doing at such a place. Everyone who didn't belong in Greenville left Greenville, just like that they all left without remembering a single thing. However for those who lost their families and more were given families, the memories of those who died had been erased, not even a as much as a picture or photo of them remained, the calamity caused by Donald was erased in not less than a minute. The people now had an opportunity to restart, as for the ghosts, at that moment, they slowly ascended as well."huh...?" Autumn stopped walking, looking back she towards the road she came from, she could find nobody, she could feel a strong presence around her, but she could not make out who or what it was."Is there a problem Autumn." She looked forward, coming face to face with the man she loved, in his left arm, he carried their daughter and in his right he held Raphael, she shook her head the mome
Numerous tanks pulled up in front of them. "Hop in." They urged them. "You're not alone in this fight." Just as he said this, they rose their heads as they felt a strong breeze coming from above their heads, aircrafts hovered around the sky, representing different countries as they teamed up to protect the Diviners. "You can use this, to reach out to the others am sure they must have picked up a lot of Diviners by now." The captain told them. Regardless of where they turned their eyes to, it was filled with either the military or air force. Help had finally arrived, enough for those who still remained. That was a stroke of luck, any minute later than that would mean that the war was over, with them being the losers. They were out of breath for a second, as most of them kept panting like hell. One of them grabbed the walkies and yelled into it, "are my lords in there, what do we do my lords?" The Diviners cried as they fled. "We're no where near as strong as what
Enraged, angered, and unable to stay calm, Donald took several deep breaths to calm, but that wasn't enough to possible appease him. Behind him was the deep hole which the being who was going to grant his wish would had crawled out from, now all he could see was the deep black hole with a loud cry. Although he had managed to stop them from ascending, he was still perplexed, if they had summoned a force powerful enough to ruin his one shot at finally achieving his goals then it was obvious that who he was up against was no ordinary opponent. "You, what did you do. Just how were you able to do such a thing." He cried out in anger. They gave him no reply except stare at him.Aidan who had rushed to the front, replied to him. "Oh, there's much worse coming your way, just you wait Donald." Now this was it, as if having the ceremony interrupted wasn't enough. He turned around as he ran to protect his body. However on reaching there, he could not find his body, h
Only a few steps away, they spotted it, they had arrived at their destination, just below that hill was the resting place of Greenville's founding father. She was nervous while she silently approached with the children. However something bothered her. She heard the murmurs of the crowd and she rushes over to the top of the hill and before her very eyes was an unbelievable sight to see. The voices she had been hearing wasn't just what she thought it was, it was indescribable. She stood before the people and gasped in horror. They were all gathered, surrounded with the most dangerous ghosts and punishers, they were frightened and couldn't even move a mussel. The moment they saw him from afar the people rained curses on him, however he had no hard time ignoring that. One look, one look was what it would take to tell what they felt for this man, it was already written on their faces so they could tell by just the look that they loathed him. A look powerful enough to kill, that was what
"Where's mom, I want to see her." Raphael stopped, the girl wasn't moving, she was sobbing and could hardly hold her tears. For her age, which was between 5-6 she had done as much as she could to hold back. But it wasn't the time fore crying. One glance at Donald and trouble was written all over it. Raphael didn't like the looks in the eyes of the punishers and Donald, they were fierce and threatening, if the child didn't stop crying and start walking at any time soon. then he feared the worse that could happen to the child. However the child whose cry spread to the other children like an infection only increased in the wailings and refused sat on the ground. The others began to cry, the older children were having difficulties calming them and that became a problem for Jasmine who hardly has any experience with children. "Master Raphael. What do we do?" A ghost called out to him, he was sent to protect the children by the Diviners. At first
"Haru?!!!" He yelled. He charged at Donald immediately, but at that moment the punisher stood before him, handling Aidan without breaking a sweat. The child who was already frightened, buried her face as she sniffed. Donald laughed at his reactions, Aidan had no protections, he had left the punishers which he had control of to keep the people safe. He couldn't charge without any plans otherwise it was all his loss, he was powerless against Donald. "Let her go." Aidan screamed. "As I said, one of you might not agree with that logic. You wouldn't want your dear Haru to be at mercy don't you, and you don't want me to harm her, at least not for the reason of killing me right. You know, this is my first time meeting my grand daughter, I didn't expect her to be this cute." He laughed. "Hey. Watch it, she is not your grand daughter, so don't you ever refer to her as your grand daughter ever again, otherwise I will kill y
