Chapter 18 - The Process

The night has come. The knights and some of the great healers had come to Father's house. There were seven of them, four knights plus three healers. They all rode horses each to come to the house. Therefore, the front yard of the house is full of their horses.

My brother, Royce, immediately greeted them when they arrived at the front gate of the house. Including Kimi, because she is also a descendant of knights, she is easily and warmly accepted and familiar with these people.

Meanwhile, I stayed in the front room and just sat watching. Even though the people at home were busy preparing this and that, I wasn't allowed to help at all, nor was I allowed to just help lift a chair.&
