34. The Heart Of The Hell
Suddenly, she released her grip on my hand. I looked up at her face and saw her smirking at me but what shocked me to my core was, I saw realization on her face. My heart was beating so fast and everyone in the room looked at me as if they could hear my heartbeat.
"Are you guys okay?" Jedrick broke the ice between us with a frown.
"Yeah, we are absolutely okay," Helena responded to him with a sly smirk. I was anxious and jumpy throughout our dinner. I kept on messing with my food without touching it.
