Aaron felt his heart stop. She never said things like that. Was never going to. Only she had and she’d said them to him.

He felt her pull away, watched her face grow uncertain and grinned at her.

“I should almost die every day.”

She punched him in the gut.

“Don’t say stupid shit.”

It took him a moment to regain his composure, but his smile didn't falter.

“The proposal was sweet right up until the punching bit,” he said, slipping his fingers into her hair.

“What? What?!” she said, her face coloring. “What proposal?!”

He pulled her face to his, grinning from ear to ear, enjoying the way she was letting him play with her.

“'Permanent out. Go home with you.' Sounded like a proposal to me.”

“Don’t be ridiculous! Girls don’t propose.”

He kissed her forehead, her eyelids, her nose and cheeks, then moved onto her jaw and neck. Ready or not, here it comes. How could he not tell her when she was capable of such adorable faces? Of saying things he never thought he’d hear come out of h

These thoughts were harder to swallow now though. He was harder to enjoy. He wasn't just some lonely, hot guy to make mischief with. The more attached she got, the harder it got not to worry. As soon as his lips landed on hers, he pulled her body closer against his and drank her in, opened up for her, let himself be kissed. Once she got started, there was no stopping her ripe mouth. Eventually he forced her hands back onto the desk and went back to slamming into her. She just took it in silence, surrendered herself to the heat they were making and the pleasure he gave her as he slid his hands onto her warm body. Breathless now, hearing herself cave as the first unwilling, little moans broke free from her mouth, she pulled his face back to hers and kissed him again. Caught up in the moment and smiling at her triumphantly, he gave her her reward for giving him what he wanted. She listened to him tell her again and again that he loved her as he continued to pleasure her body.Keira was

"What are next gens?" Aaron asked again as Keira turned the doorknob of a room upstairs far removed from the gathering and showed him inside. "Contrary to popular belief, The House of Assassins is not run exclusively by The House of Dormer. There are other founding families. The people you just met are from those families. The next generation of The House of Assassins." Aaron fumbled around in the dark for a light switch as he watched Keira close the door. "Now my turn," she said, her voice coming from some distance away. Aaron heard a light thud and walked carefully towards it, giving up on the light switch. A lamp went on in the dark room, offering just enough light to illuminate her sitting next to it. Keira was propped up on a desk with her crossed, smooth, long legs on display. "Have you ever done it somewhere you really, really shouldn't?" He went to her in fluid, big strides, slowly dragging his hands up her legs and unfolding them when he reached her. She wanted him to k

2020, July 28th(Imperium, Warlanda)"Delish," she said, dragging a blood-red nail across Aaron's chest. "No wonder Nate and Gray couldn't bring Keira home. Welcome to Imperium, Prince of Assassins."She held out her hand for him to kiss. Aaron looked at it and considered his conundrum for a moment. To kiss the assassin in front of him's hand was to risk life and limb getting caught by Keira. They had him surrounded. What exactly was the thing to do here? He felt sure whatever he did, he'd get it wrong. "Don't go poking the bear, Kendall," said Cameron, batting her hand away. "Word is she's even more attached to this one than she was to Ethan. Don't mind Kendall, Prince of Assassins."Kendall threw Cameron a nasty look, turned back to Aaron and offered him her hand again. "If you're going to compare me to an animal Cam, I'd much rather be a cheetah or a lioness. Maybe a tigress. You know, something that rips wolves like the ones in front of me limb from limb."A killer, unnatural sm

There was a reason, there were many reasons, but he was far too caught up in their yesterday, in her hypnotized dark eyes to remember any of them. Looking at her, kneeling for her made him feel completely calm. This woman always wanted to say yes to him. She always had. He had no doubt that she would again. “Hope and peace is being next to you. So Keira, give me hope, give me peace. Be next to me always. Will you marry me, Your Grace?” When Aaron let go and walked towards the crowd, Keira tried to make her peace with his choice. She could put a tail on him, put several on him. Tell his idiot brother to protect him. Aaron was right. A fake proposal was a stupid idea. He shouldn’t have to put his life on hold because of her. Especially not now that he had someone in his life again. Someone smart, heavily guarded and low risk, even if she was a seat holder. Keira could use that too. Force House of Assassins protection on them. She could make Emily Maine safer for him. But now he was o

2021, February 17th(Imperium, Warlanda) “I’m standing in Imperium International Airport, awaiting the return of the Archduchess of Imperium, Her Grace, Keira Dormer. The excitement coming off of the crowd, hoping for a glimpse of Her Grace, is riveting. Perhaps more so owing to the rumours that Her Grace brings with her the future Archduke of Imperium, His Highness, Prince Aaron Condor. Will Warlanda and Terres Somnia finally succeed in joining hands after two failed engagements between His Majesty, King Troy Pierce and Her Highness, Princess Caroline Condor? Stay with me and the astounding crowd that’s gathered here today to find out.” (Caines, Terres Somnia) “You can’t be serious!” James exploded, turning away from the TV to look at Nathan. “I think I would know if my brother was about to marry Warlanda’s archduchess,” said James, the look of surprise and shock deepening on his face. “Would you? None of us has really seen that much of Aaron since he left for Maine,” Bart argued
