The moment I gained my consciousness back, I was no longer outside of the library— instead, I was looking directly at a glistening pearly white chandelier with its lights and candles turned off. The ceiling was cream colored and the rest of the room was dark. No sign of light nor brightness anywhere, aside from the light coming through the gap at the bottom of the tall oak door.

I did not know where I was nor do I remember anything at all before I passed out. All I knew and all I could remember was that I was rushing out of the library and I bumped into a group of people. And soon after that, I lost my consciousness and could not remember anything else.

I grounded myself and felt the softness of the mattress beneath me, the lightness of the cotton blanket placed on top of me, and the deepening, sinking feeling of my head against the bouncy pillow covered with a piece of silk fabric.

And then it hits me, this is not my room nor was it any room that I recognize at all
