Chapter Forty Three: Ambush

Elize and Gavin were staring at a bed.  They stayed in a motel to hide from those who were following them.  Elize sat up in bed, and one by one removed the gun from both her legs.  The knives in both his arms.

"Wow, you're not ready," said Gavin, unable to believe the weapons hidden in Elize's body.

"I'll take a shower. Be careful," said Elize

"Tss, okay," said Gavin

Elize was taking a bath, and Gavin was sitting on the bed while Gavin was watching TV.  He could still hear the splash of water from the shower.  Gavin smiled.  He noticed that the door lock was moving.  He immediately stabbed Elize's gun and a knife under the pillow, then he hid behind the door and opened it.  The three men entered then he closed the door again.

From inside the bathroom, crashes can be heard from outside.  Elize turned and listened from the bathroom door.  There was broken and damaged equipment from outside.
