It didn't take long before the police had found Mike and Hannah and also captured the child traffickers. They had taken the both of them to Mike's home where he had fed Hannah and cuddled her to sleep. 

The young girl seemed to have wanted nothing more than to cuddle in his arms, enveloped by the warmth of both silence and his heat. Whether she wanted to rest permanently or not, he did not know. 

But she finally fell asleep in his arms.

She never would have though silence would be considered warm but there she was laying in her bed prepared to be swept away by the hope that her sleep would be filled by light.

Having been kidnapped by child traffickers and had suffered under their clutches, she deserved to have a good night rest. 

Luckily she didn't have any serious scratches although some were visible on her body as a result of the rope that was tied so tightly around her.
