CHAPTER 17

Maya turned on her side and opened her eyes, searching for the lighted digits of the digital clock on her bedside table. She groaned inwardly when she saw it read three in the early morning. She rolled on her back and waited for sleep to take over her again.

She missed Grayson beside her.

It has been over three days since Grayson went back to CF State after taking a two-week vacation to spend time with her in the villa, which he had purchased years before. Just three days and she’s already missing him.

She decided to blame him for her predicament because for the two weeks that they had been together, Grayson made love to her almost every day and night. She then recalled that Grayson will be waking her up at this time and will make love to her again and go back to sleep after, waking up later in the morning for another session before they will go down to have brunch.
