Chapter 40: Secret desire

"What did you do in Nicole's room?" Danica asked Rita intensely. She looked surprised to see her.

"Oh, I talked to her about Brother."

Danica stared at her skeptically and she wasn't convinced.

"I caught them kissing."

"What?!" Danica's eyes widened and she couldn't help but raise her voice.

"So I went to her room to tell her that Brother Steven only wants her body." Rita explained to her.

"The thickness of her face, really! She doesn't even respect me as your brother's fiancee!"

"Don't be angry, because of what I told her, she must have come to her senses."

Danica smiled when she noticed the mischievous smile on Rita's lips. She put her arm on her shoulder and took her to her room.

"Do you think she finally realized that?" Danica asked Rita excitedly.

"With the thickness of her face, the truth won't get to her that easily. But I know her confidence has diminished." She answered confidently.
