Chapter 33 - Siblings

Gabriel POV

River has been having another of her episodes for two days now and I am worried. Usually, with the pills, she feels better as soon as she wakes up. She’s under a lot of stress lately. I get that. Learning self-defence, learning to shoot, her last finals are around the corner and I sprung that damn event on her as well.

Michael is opening another hotel so we are all invited to the opening. He’s having a cocktail party. I might have to call him and cancel tomorrow.

River is still not feeling well and I don’t want to stress her more than she already is.

I walk into the room and she is sitting on the bed reading her materials for her finals. She looks so sexy wearing my clothes and my reading glasses.

She is definitely being poisoned by Vanessa. And I still think Vanessa is a spy releasing info to the cartel Just don’t get how they haven’t figured out when river is away she is not sick
