Chapter 65: What is Hannah's is Mine

**Lily’s POV**

Oh… I am so fucking pissed!

Why is it taking Hannah forever to come out of Lucas’ office? What could they possibly be talking about in there? Every tick of the clock felt like a knife against my nerves. My fists clenched and unclenched, my heels clicking in restless rhythm against the polished floor of the department.

I am going to kill that girl.

I paced back and forth, eyes glued to the door as if my sheer rage could blast it open. Damon sat at his cubicle, his gaze flicking to me and away again like he was trying not to get caught staring. John, the ridiculous busybody, wasn’t even subtle, he had leaned back in his chair, arms folded across his chest, watching me like my fury was his entertainment for the morning.

“Don’t you have work to do?” I snapped at him when his staring became unbearable.

John grinned, smug as always. “I am working. Just multitasking. You’re the one who is not working, you’re pacing.”

I glared so hard I wish

Chapter 107**Lily’s POV**I couldn’t bear the thought of Lucas not marrying me.Not after everything I’d done, everything I’d risked, everything I’d lost. No, this wasn’t over… not until it was over.If Hannah thought she could snatch everything I’d worked for with her pretty little pity act, she was dead wrong.I had one last card to play. I had met with someone who has taught me how to win.Mr. Gabriel — my real father — was right when he said, “You can’t win by crying, Lily. You win by playing smarter.”And I must admit, the man is brilliant. Ruthless and calculated. I clearly took after him. He’d given me a plan — one that could change everything, if executed right, I had been grounded from leaving the house as punishment for what I did to Hannah and Lucas, so I had to sneak out of the house under cover so I could carry out this mission. All I had to do was get close to Lucas and get him to listen while I make him see Hannah’s ugly self.So here I was, standing in the middle of B

Chapter 106**Lucas’ POV**The next morning, the whispers started before I even stepped into my wing of the office.I could feel the little hisses of conversation that died down the moment I walked past. Heads turning, voices dropping, eyes darting to screens and then quickly away. They thought I wouldn’t notice. They must have all seen the viral video from the hotel, that’s their burden to carry not mine.I sighed deeply, buttoning my jacket tighter as I strode through the glass doors of Bristo Enterprise. The employees greeted me with forced smiles, their professionalism cracking under curiosity.Tale bearers. That’s what they all were. People who fed on gossip and rumors like it was breakfast. The company could be burning, and they’d still be whispering about who slept with who.As I entered the elevator, I pulled out my phone and dialed Hannah. She picked up after the third ring, her voice low and shaky. “Lucas…”I could hear the hesitation in her tone.“Hey,” I said softly, leani

Chapter 105**Lucas’ POV**Damon drove me home that evening, the engine humming quietly as the sun slipped beneath the horizon. The entire ride was filled with that heavy silence that comes after too much has happened in too little time. I leaned back in the seat, staring out the window as the Bristo estate came into view. My head was still full of Hannah — her laugh, her stubborn eyes, her softness — and the chaos that seemed to follow her like a shadow.Beside me, Damon kept his usual poker face, both hands on the wheel, pretending not to notice my small smile. But I knew he noticed. Damon noticed everything. When we finally pulled into the driveway, the mansion lights glowed like a palace. The moment we stepped out, a familiar voice cut through the evening air.“There you are!”Eleanor stood by the entrance, arms crossed, an accusing look in her eyes. Her hair was loose and slightly messy, like she’d been pacing around the house all day waiting for something to happen — or someone

Chapter 104**Lily’s POV**The meeting had barely ended when I saw Hannah walking down the hallway like she owned the place. Her hair loose, her shoulders straight, that calm little smirk resting at the edge of her lips. It made my blood boil. She’d gotten everything I’d ever wanted, the sympathy, the validation, the family’s approval, even Lucas’s ridiculous devotion. Meanwhile, I was the villain, the mistake, the embarrassment they couldn’t sweep under the rug fast enough.I followed her, rage pulsing behind my ribs. I wanted to pull her hair and ensure she suffocates in the pain. She stopped at her bedroom door, her hand on the knob, then turned just enough to look at me. Her expression was too calm.“Do you need something, Lily?” she asked, her voice annoyingly even.I forced a smile, stepping closer. “I just wanted to talk,” I said softly. “I know things have been tense between us, and I thought…”She turned fully, cutting me off with a laugh. This bitch! She thinks I would remai

Chapter 103 Hannah’s POVThe ride back home with Gavin was suffocatingly quiet at first. My fingers kept brushing against the hem of my dress, restless. The city lights flickered through the tinted windows, washing his face in a rhythm of gold and shadow.Gavin gripped the steering wheel like it had offended him. I could tell he was thinking and pondering over what Lucas had said. Then, out of nowhere, his voice cut through the silence. “You want to marry Lucas?” I froze, my heart thudding so loud it felt like he could hear it. His tone wasn’t angry, more like disbelief laced with warning.I turned to look at him, but he kept his eyes fixed on the road. His expression was unreadable, a mask of calm that didn’t fool me.“Uhmm…” I swallowed, “I don’t really know yet.” He finally looked at me, just briefly, and the weight in his eyes made me squirm. “Do you have any reason why I shouldn’t?” I asked, my voice softer than I meant it to be. Gavin sighed, that deep exhale that always c

  • The Heiress Returns: Reclaiming My Legacy   Chapter 102

Chapter 102Lucas’ POVI still couldn’t wipe the grin off my face.Every muscle in my body felt relaxed with the kind of lazy satisfaction that only comes after pure chaos and pleasure. The kind that makes you want to stay exactly where you are forever.Hannah was lying on the couch, hair messy, lips slightly swollen, looking like sin and heaven wrapped together.God, she was beautiful. If I could’ve frozen that moment, I would’ve.I reached for my phone, dialing Damon’s number, still grinning like an idiot. He picked up almost immediately, sounding like he was halfway through a sigh.“Lucas, don’t tell me you teleported out of Piper’s house because I can’t believe you’re still in there?”I chuckled. “Still at Piper’s. Listen, I need you to do something for me. Book a hotel nearby for Piper, five-star, something cozy. Send her there for the night so I can stay here with Hannah.”There was silence on the other end, he must be that short of words. Then a sharp whisper:“The older brothe
