The three kids were waiting outside as she pulled up with her brother and his wife, walking out as the kids loaded up in the car. Her brother looked her over, but his eyes went wide when he saw Mark standing there and helping buckle her son in the car, who seemingly forgot how to.

The rest of the day flew between watching Mark play with the kids and checking in with the hospital for updates on Reena’s condition. Tomorrow she would be moved, and within three days, she would be released. Her progress was remarkable. So that gave his friends a timetable to work with, and then they could set the schedule to watch over her for the couple so they could get things ready for the teen's return to a house.
