Chapter Fifty

Christy had been busy for some days now, the fact that she moved into her new apartment which was not too far from her office and her work has kept her busy making her forget about her ordeal with Lucas. Her boss has just given her a job to do.

She went to her desk to do the assignment given to her by her boss. There has not been any eventful thing that happened between her and Tony after that incident. Their lives have been smooth, he had not brought up the issues of the wedding again but he was very careful and always controls himself whenever they are alone. He has even moved in with her and they both live in the same house and at the same time leave for their workplace

He has not made it known to her that he was her boss and Christy didn't bother to know who her boss was since there has not been any delay in her salary, everyone treated her well except for the lady who took it upon herself to intimidate her at every given opportunity but Christy did not
