Chapter Nineteen

I don't like the fact that Christy refused to react to being treated and spoken to like she was nobody and weak by Betty, and I know there was more to this that is making Christy afraid of her, there must be something she doesn't want me to know but why would she not want me to know, I saw how nervous she was when that old woman brought up that issue of what happened the previous day when she came this morning.

Christy was a daring person who doesn't shiver when something terrifies her. I knew something in her past was what was making her chicken out.
