When I woke up the next morning, Blake wasn't beside me anymore. They were behind me, because Rod is helping BJ put on his clothes.

"Dude said we're going home, mama," BJ said.

"Good morning, mama," Rod greeted me, mimicking how Blake used to call me mama.

"Good morning," they both already bathed and dressed.

"Mama, are we going to visit kuya EJ and AJ at Aunt Eya's house?" BJ asked.

“EJ will be the one to come to us,”

I yawned and checked the clock. It was already eight o'clock.

"Let's have breakfast first," Rod said, picking up our son.

I felt Rod kiss the top of my head, followed by BJ copying him.

"I bought you a dress," he whispered to me.

"I can't wait," Rod added, turning to his son.

"I've been wanting to see them since last night.”

I sniffed at him. BJ, on the other hand, was smiling at me, very pleased with our conversation with his dad, whom he called 'dude'.
