Two years later.

Today was a beautiful day for Anita. After two years of taking over her family's company, she could live in peace. Her stepfamily could no longer intimidate her.

All thanks to her marriage to Morgan.

By the way, how's that man doing? They hadn't seen each other in two years. Anita only realized this because he'd been too busy managing the company.

"Icha," Anita called out to her loyal subordinate and close friend.

"Yes, Mrs. Anita? Can I help you?" Icha asked, approaching her.

"No need to be so formal, it's just the two of us," Anita said. "I just wanted to know about Hana's engagement to the Sanjaya family."

Icha laughed at that. She then sat down on the sofa in Anita's room.

"Yes, they're getting engaged. Hana will definitely be even more stubborn after this," Icha said.

Anita looked thoughtful. "You're right, after she failed to acquire this company, she and her mother targeted the Sanjaya Group. Very cunning," he said.

Icha nodded in agreement. They had barely spoken when someone suddenly entered the room without permission.

Anita and Icha immediately turned toward the door.

It was Hana. She strode arrogantly toward them.

"It's very rude to enter someone else's office without knocking," Icha quipped.

"I don't need to do such a lowly thing. After all, I'm the future Mrs. Sanjaya!" Hana replied arrogantly, her chin held high.

Icha was about to curse at her, but Anita's hand stopped her. She didn't want to cause a scene in the office. After all, Hana was someone Anita could handle on her own.

"What brings the future Mrs. Sanjaya here?" Anita asked. Although calm, her tone was full of sarcasm.

"I came here to give you this." Hana handed her an engagement invitation card to the son of the Sanjaya family.

Anita took the invitation from Hana's hand expressionlessly. She glanced at it briefly, then simply placed it on the table, as if it meant nothing.

"So you came here just to show me this?" Anita asked calmly.

Hana smiled lopsidedly. "Of course. I just wanted to make sure you knew I won. I'll be the one sitting at the altar, not you."

Icha, who was beside Anita, began to look irritated, but Anita held up her hand again, holding her back.

"I'm happy if you're happy," Anita replied flatly.

Hana snorted in annoyance. "Don't act all sweet. Everyone knows you've been in the position I'm in now. But look at you now, you're nothing!"

Hana's gaze was deliberately piercing, trying to find a way to hurt Anita. But the woman remained calm, even smiling faintly.

"A person's happiness isn't measured by wedding invitations or social status. Especially if it's all just pretend."

"What do you mean?!" Hana asked, her tone beginning to change.

"I just hope you're not building a castle on sand. Because if you are... sooner or later, it will collapse," Anita replied quietly but meaningfully.

Icha held her breath, feeling the words like a powerful blow, even though they were delivered so coldly and elegantly.

Hana sneered. "You talk like you know everything!"

"Because you and your mother are the same, wanting wealth and sitting on the highest throne. But in the end, your mother couldn't even get anything, right?"

Hana was silent for a moment, her gaze dark. Her fists clenched tightly. But instead of replying, she turned and walked out, still with her usual haughty air.

"You be careful!" she shouted, then slammed the door.

After the door closed, Icha looked at Anita. She looked worried.

"Are you sure you're okay?"

Anita sighed, then looked down at the invitation on the table. "I'm fine."

Slowly, Anita opened the invitation. She was simply curious and wanted to see the date. But she instead raised an eyebrow when she noticed something odd.

Seeing Anita's facial expression made Icha curious too. "What's wrong, Anita?"

"This is strange," Anita muttered, her brow furrowed deeply. "I remember the man I was going to marry was named Prawira. Why is his name Prayoga here?"

Anita clearly remembered that when she started to get sick, her late father always talked about that man named Prawira.

"It's impossible that they wrote the wrong name on the invitation card, right?" Icha said.

Anita thought for a moment. She thought something was indeed odd. The Sanjaya family had always been secretive about their heirs. In fact, they rarely even received media coverage.

"You're right. Try investigating that person named Prayoga. I'm sure he should be Prawira. You know, the person I was matched with was named Prawira."

Icha, hearing this, was surprised. "Wait, could they be different people?"

"Different?" Anita asked.

"Yes, it's possible, isn't it? They're different people. The person you were matched with and the person Hana was engaged to," Icha muttered.

Anita still couldn't believe it. There couldn't be two heirs. There had to be something wrong. She had to investigate both of them.

"Find out the identities of both of them. I just want to make sure they're different people. If they're the same person, then why change their name to Prayoga? Unless they're hiding something," Anita explained after some thought.

Icha understood what Hana had just said. "Okay, then I'll investigate everything."

Anita smiled meaningfully. If he found something there, it would be easier for him to teach Hana and her arrogant stepmother a lesson.

"Do you think it's that easy, Hana? I'll investigate thoroughly later!"

It seemed she was deliberately showing off to her.Anita extended her hand and congratulated Hana. "Congratulations on your engagement, Hana, and Prayoga."Hana returned the gesture with a glance. "Yes, thank you very much.""Who is she?" Prayoga asked Hana, as this was the first time he had seen her.Anita, hearing this, immediately smiled sarcastically. It seemed Hana had deliberately kept her from telling her."You don't know who I am? Oh, that's natural, it's the first time we've met. Let me introduce myself. My name is Anita Anindya Hartanto."Hearing the surname made Prayoga turn to Hana. "You have a sibling, Hana? Didn't you say you were the Hartanto family's only child?"Prayoga was a little annoyed because he felt he'd been lied to by Hana. Moreover, it turned

The luxurious ivory gown draped around her body, giving off a soft glow, complemented by the elegant makeup that accentuated her beauty tonight. However, beneath the satisfied look in her eyes, there lurked a glimmer of ambition."It's done, Sis," the MUA said with a proud smile after applying the final touches to Hana's cheeks."Good," Hana replied curtly. She reached for a small velvet box and opened it, revealing a sparkling gemstone necklace, as if eager to capture the attention of anyone who saw it. She put it around her neck and looked back into the mirror."Tonight... everything will change," she murmured softly. The door suddenly swung open. Prayoga entered with an impatient expression, his face slightly irritated."You're taking too long," he protested.Hana simply turned her head slowly, then stood gracefully. "I was just fixing my makeup. Who told you—" she stopped and

Morgan's black car slowly pulled into the parking lot where the event was taking place. Behind the wheel, his expression remained calm, seemingly unaffected by the formal atmosphere within the grand building. After parking the car, Morgan got out first. With a polite and dignified demeanor, he opened the passenger door. Anita stepped out gracefully, her elegant dress swaying with her steps."Thank you, Morgan," Anita said curtly.Morgan simply nodded slightly. "You're welcome."But before they could walk any further, Anita tugged on his jacket sleeve, stopping him momentarily. "Morgan," her voice was low but firm. "Inside, I want us to look like a real married couple. Don't give them any reason to suspect anything."Morgan glanced at her briefly, before his lips curved into a faint smile. Wordlessly, he wrapped his arm around Anita's waist, pulling her close until she was almost touching."What are you—" Anita choked, her eyes widening as the distance between them evaporated so quickl

"How's my wife?"The deep voice greeted her softly, making Anita stop in her tracks. She turned, and her eyes immediately caught the figure of a sturdy man wearing an elegant black suit. His steps were steady, his leather shoes echoing softly on the marble floor. But what made Anita frown wasn't his model-like appearance, but rather... the plain black mask that still covered half of his face. Her heart clenched for a moment."Why is your face still covered? Isn't... your surgery over?" she asked softly, trying to hold back her disappointment.Morgan—the masked man—was silent for a moment. His wedding ring-wearing fingers clenched slightly. "The surgery is indeed over," he replied.Anita took a deep breath. She stepped closer, the sound of her heels echoing softly in the room."Then why is it covered?" she asked again, this time in a slightly sharper tone. "I want to see your face. At least... I deserve to know who my husband is, don't I?"Understandably, Anita had never seen her husba

Anita stood in front of the full-length mirror in her bedroom. Her elegant evening blue dress fell gracefully along her curves, and her makeup accentuated a beauty she never flaunted casually. Tonight, she wasn't just a guest. She was a symbol of resistance. After ensuring everything was perfect, Anita picked up a small bag that matched her dress. She stepped out of her house and headed for her parked car. She started the engine, and at a moderate speed, she sped off into the darkness.A few minutes later, the car stopped in front of a modest house located some distance from the city center. It was a stark contrast to her luxurious lifestyle. Yet, here, her husband had lived—in a place filled with tranquility and secrecy.Anita got out of the car and looked around. The porch light was dim, but it was enough to make out the figure of a middle-aged man standing in the doorway. His face was friendly, but his eyes held a sharpness that couldn't be ignored."Good evening, son-in-law," the

"What did you find?" Anita asked over the phone."About Prawira, it turns out he's dead."ThrilledAnita was shocked to learn that Prawira, the man she was once engaged to, was dead. How could this be? No media outlets even reported his death. Could this be the reason why the Sanjaya family never exposed their heir?"Dead?" Anita asked again.Anita felt curious after hearing this sad news. Was he murdered? It was certainly a dispute over the inheritance. His fate wasn't much different from hers."Yes, the investigation says he was in an accident two years ago.""An accident?""That's all the information I have. I don't know the rest. Perhaps since Prawira was declared dead, the entire inheritance went to Prayoga, Hana's fiancé. Considering they were part of the same family," Icha explained.Anita, hearing this, smiled meaningfully. "I'm becoming increasingly suspicious that Prawira might have been murdered by Prayoga.""You're right, Anita. I suspect that too." Icha thought for a mome
