After exchanging vows at the Office of Religious Affairs with Anita, Morgan immediately decided to leave the country.

"Anwar," Morgan called.

"Yes, Sir."

"You shortened my name on the marriage document, didn't you? Don't mention Prawira because it's very dangerous."

"No, Sir, I shortened it to my initials. As per your wishes."

Morgan sighed. "Good, make sure my real identity is safe. Because that person is definitely after me now."

"Okay," Anwar replied, his head bowed. Then he looked around, making sure the area was safe. "We have to leave now, Young Master," Anwar said.

"I haven't said goodbye to Anita yet," Morgan replied.

Anwar looked at Morgan with pity. However, they couldn't afford to waste any more time.

If "that person" saw him and Morgan, it was possible they would do something.

"The situation isn't safe right now. We have to hurry, Young Master."

Morgan clenched his fists tightly. This was all because of that damned cousin of his! He was certain that what had happened to him was his fault.

Some time ago, Morgan had been in an accident that caused his car to catch fire. Fortunately, he survived, although the burns were quite severe. But most of his organs were still functioning properly. He just needed to recover to get back to normal.

"Damn it!" Morgan cursed in annoyance.

"Young Master, that person must still be after you. Especially now that he knows your body hasn't been found. He must be searching every hospital."

Morgan thought for a moment; it was true. He was in danger now. Too many people were targeting him and wanting to kill him.

"You're right," Morgan said.

Anwar didn't want to see his employer sad. Then he decided to comfort him.

"Well, how about Young Master contact Miss Anita?"

"Okay, I'll send her a message," Morgan said finally.

[I'm already at the airport. Take care of yourself.]

Morgan sent the message to Anita. Afterward, he put his phone in his pocket and entered the airport waiting room.

Elsewhere, Anita read the message sent by her now-husband. She skimmed it briefly.

"He's gone, I see," Anita muttered.

Until suddenly, someone slammed her desk. Anita was a little surprised at first. But after seeing the person who slammed her desk, she didn't care.

"Why?" Anita asked, seeing her stepmother there.

"Why are you here, huh?! Who told you to work at this company? Have you forgotten you don't have the right?!" Ayu snapped, her voice piercing.

"Don't worry, Mrs. Ayu. I've fulfilled the requirements. I'm married," Anita said casually.

Ayu—Anita's stepmother—instantly glared at her, not believing that Anita was married. She was sure Anita was lying to her.

"Don't lie, there's no proof," Ayu said sharply.

Hana, who was there, also smiled teasingly at Anita. "Anita must be lying, Mom. She can't be married."

"You're right, honey. We already called off the engagement," Ayu said with a satisfied smile.

Anita clenched her fists. Her suspicions were correct; her stepmother had deliberately called off the engagement so she could seize control of all the family's assets.

Hana laughed loudly. "Soon I'll be the one engaged to the son of the Sanjaya family," she said proudly.

"Mother and daughter are the same," Anita sneered, snorting.

"What did you say?!" Hana exclaimed in disbelief.

Ayu simply smiled slyly, unprovoked by Anita's arrogant behavior. "You'd better get out of here now. You don't deserve to work in this office!"

"Mrs. Ayu can't kick me out of my own family's company. Remember, I've met all the requirements," Anita replied calmly.

Hana crossed her arms with a sneer. "If you're married, where's the proof?!"

"Yes, that's right, where's the proof? We won't believe you if there's no proof at all!" Ayu said, no less sarcastically.

Anita smiled. She took out her marriage certificate to Morgan.

Ayu and Hana immediately grabbed the document and examined it for themselves. They were both shocked to see proof that Anita was truly married.

"Impossible! How could that be?" Ayu screamed, panicked, her position now threatened.

Hana noticed a photo of Anita's husband, bandaged like a mummy, and immediately laughed sarcastically.

"You married a corpse, Anita? That man's face must be incredibly ugly. That's why he covered it up!"

Ayu, who had been panicking, immediately looked at the photo. "Anita, you married this ugly man on purpose, right? You're taking advantage of the situation!"

Anita wasn't provoked. She actually laughed when she heard Ayu's words. "That's not important. What's important now is that I've met the requirements to work in this office."

Ayu and Hana snorted sarcastically. "Damn, he's more cunning than us!" Ayu said.

"We'll beat him later, let's go," Hana said to her mother.

Ayu glared at Anita before finally leaving.

Anita smiled with satisfaction after watching the two leave. Now that she was going to start working in this office, no one would dare intimidate her anymore.

A man in a dark room clenched his fists. He was a man hungry for power.

"How is it? Have you found him?"

"Sorry, sir, we've searched for his body, but we haven't found it."

"What about the hospital? Did you find any trace of him?" the mysterious man asked again.

His men simply shook their heads, looking scared. "We didn't find him at the hospital either. He's probably already dead and his body has been reduced to ashes."

"Are you fools?! Until his body is found, he's still a threat to me!"

"Forgive us, sir. We'll look for him again."

"You're incompetent!" the man cursed, throwing his used coffee cup to the floor, scattering the shards.

He slammed his fist on the table. His face was grim as he hissed, "Prawira… I'll definitely find you!"

It seemed she was deliberately showing off to her.Anita extended her hand and congratulated Hana. "Congratulations on your engagement, Hana, and Prayoga."Hana returned the gesture with a glance. "Yes, thank you very much.""Who is she?" Prayoga asked Hana, as this was the first time he had seen her.Anita, hearing this, immediately smiled sarcastically. It seemed Hana had deliberately kept her from telling her."You don't know who I am? Oh, that's natural, it's the first time we've met. Let me introduce myself. My name is Anita Anindya Hartanto."Hearing the surname made Prayoga turn to Hana. "You have a sibling, Hana? Didn't you say you were the Hartanto family's only child?"Prayoga was a little annoyed because he felt he'd been lied to by Hana. Moreover, it turned

Dressing Room – Minutes Before the EventHana stared at her reflection in the large, brightly lit mirror. The luxurious ivory gown draped around her body, giving off a soft glow, complemented by the elegant makeup that accentuated her beauty tonight. However, beneath the satisfied look in her eyes, there lurked a glimmer of ambition."It's done, Sis," the MUA said with a proud smile after applying the final touches to Hana's cheeks."Good," Hana replied curtly. She reached for a small velvet box and opened it, revealing a sparkling gemstone necklace, as if eager to capture the attention of anyone who saw it. She put it around her neck and looked back into the mirror."Tonight... everything will change," she murmured softly. The door suddenly swung open. Prayoga entered with an impatient expression, his face slightly irritated."You're taking too long," he protested.Hana simply turned her head slowly, then stood gracefully. "I was just fixing my makeup. Who told you—" she stopped and

Morgan's black car slowly pulled into the parking lot where the event was taking place. Behind the wheel, his expression remained calm, seemingly unaffected by the formal atmosphere within the grand building. After parking the car, Morgan got out first. With a polite and dignified demeanor, he opened the passenger door. Anita stepped out gracefully, her elegant dress swaying with her steps."Thank you, Morgan," Anita said curtly.Morgan simply nodded slightly. "You're welcome."But before they could walk any further, Anita tugged on his jacket sleeve, stopping him momentarily. "Morgan," her voice was low but firm. "Inside, I want us to look like a real married couple. Don't give them any reason to suspect anything."Morgan glanced at her briefly, before his lips curved into a faint smile. Wordlessly, he wrapped his arm around Anita's waist, pulling her close until she was almost touching."What are you—" Anita choked, her eyes widening as the distance between them evaporated so quickl

"How's my wife?"The deep voice greeted her softly, making Anita stop in her tracks. She turned, and her eyes immediately caught the figure of a sturdy man wearing an elegant black suit. His steps were steady, his leather shoes echoing softly on the marble floor. But what made Anita frown wasn't his model-like appearance, but rather... the plain black mask that still covered half of his face. Her heart clenched for a moment."Why is your face still covered? Isn't... your surgery over?" she asked softly, trying to hold back her disappointment.Morgan—the masked man—was silent for a moment. His wedding ring-wearing fingers clenched slightly. "The surgery is indeed over," he replied.Anita took a deep breath. She stepped closer, the sound of her heels echoing softly in the room."Then why is it covered?" she asked again, this time in a slightly sharper tone. "I want to see your face. At least... I deserve to know who my husband is, don't I?"Understandably, Anita had never seen her husba

Anita stood in front of the full-length mirror in her bedroom. Her elegant evening blue dress fell gracefully along her curves, and her makeup accentuated a beauty she never flaunted casually. Tonight, she wasn't just a guest. She was a symbol of resistance. After ensuring everything was perfect, Anita picked up a small bag that matched her dress. She stepped out of her house and headed for her parked car. She started the engine, and at a moderate speed, she sped off into the darkness.A few minutes later, the car stopped in front of a modest house located some distance from the city center. It was a stark contrast to her luxurious lifestyle. Yet, here, her husband had lived—in a place filled with tranquility and secrecy.Anita got out of the car and looked around. The porch light was dim, but it was enough to make out the figure of a middle-aged man standing in the doorway. His face was friendly, but his eyes held a sharpness that couldn't be ignored."Good evening, son-in-law," the

"What did you find?" Anita asked over the phone."About Prawira, it turns out he's dead."ThrilledAnita was shocked to learn that Prawira, the man she was once engaged to, was dead. How could this be? No media outlets even reported his death. Could this be the reason why the Sanjaya family never exposed their heir?"Dead?" Anita asked again.Anita felt curious after hearing this sad news. Was he murdered? It was certainly a dispute over the inheritance. His fate wasn't much different from hers."Yes, the investigation says he was in an accident two years ago.""An accident?""That's all the information I have. I don't know the rest. Perhaps since Prawira was declared dead, the entire inheritance went to Prayoga, Hana's fiancé. Considering they were part of the same family," Icha explained.Anita, hearing this, smiled meaningfully. "I'm becoming increasingly suspicious that Prawira might have been murdered by Prayoga.""You're right, Anita. I suspect that too." Icha thought for a mome
