"What did you just say?" Mitch choked out. The misbelief was punctuated in his tone.

The man swallowed aloud. "Sir, the King is de—"

"Shut up!" Mitch jumped to his feet. "Just shut up!" His voice echoed in the room.

The night was done. News like this would tear any evening apart. I hated the dude but this had to hurt.

Mitch backed away from the table. He never said another word but stormed from the room.

"Prince Mitchalus!" The Torus guy shouted but Mitch was long gone.

The rest of us remained seated, trying to process how the night ended up this way.

The Torus dude cleared his throat. "Thanks for delivering the message to us. Get your men and go get cleaned up. There is enough food here to share. You can have some if you guys are hungry."

The informant answered right away. "Yes, Sir. Thank you."

"Okay, you are dismissed."

    Marvelon's story has come to an end. I had so much fun with this story. It has blossomed so much since it started. The first draft was way less complicated than this final piece. The original version was a love story about Aqualia and Marvelon. However, as I wrote, the panster in me came alive. New characters joined the story and the old characters played new parts. Their lives were molded differently. Gosh, most of them probably hate me for all the tribulations I have put them through.Oh, I bet Marvelon does. Aqualia might be. A little. Oh, my gosh, since we are on the subject, I can only imagine what is going through Aquant and Torus's heads. 'All my possessions for the head of the author'.     "Sorry I'm late, guys," Fel swam into the cave. "Prince Torus has become such a big baby these days."I never thought I would hear those words. Baby and Torus in the same sentence. Though he and Sophia mated, he acted aloof to the entire situation. If it had not been for Sophia and Mitch, I wouldn't have thought the guy would be mated. He was just that kind of asshole.
