36 The Brutality of an Alpha

**Quinn's POV**

My body trembled. Cold sweat beaded all over my body and face.

I wanted to call Grayson for help but my open mouth didn't let out a word. I wanted to scream that I was scared but the scream was only heard inside my own head. Only my body spoke, only my stiff body signaled that I was scared.

Until finally our eyes met.

In no time I felt my eyes heat up. Something wet came out of my eyes and down my cheeks.

And that's when I saw Grayson's eyes darken. His hands were clenched into fists that made his veins visible.

Then the growling sounded. It was like the sound of an alert wolf, an angry wolf ready to attack its enemy.

Those dark eyes then flashed with fury as they looked at the three men who had almost harassed me.

A cold, sharp, and powerful voice that had never been heard before was finally heard this time....

"I will kill you."

Every word was full of emphasis. It wasn't a statement but it was a decision. Absolute.
