Turstin and Melnyk had a fall out about Amelia's presence in the palace. Melnyk had said the worst things to his son, in front of Adelard which had provoked Turstin to the core. "You can emerge, Melnyk, it is safe now, my dear son," his father called out. With the environment calm, Melnyk jumped out from his hiding spot in the barn behind the horses. Seeing the coast was clear, he ran toward his beloved parents. Melnyk could still see the humans riding away from his village. He turned and hurried to his mother and father. On one of the branches of the Mango tree, that stood a couple of meters from the main building to Frank’s palace was Melnyk’s favourite place in the small castle. He could stay there for hours and win by being bothered by reality. Even though, this curious prince had a lot that lingered on his mind. Melnyk will always ask the big questions like; "why are Werewolves afraid of humans when they are just humans? Why are the werewolf races divided? Among others; that sets the precedent for the rest of his life because he shall dedicate his life to finding the answers to the questions in his head. It was exactly two weeks since Baku and his father visited Frank. They had made preparations for Frank and his family to come over to Karak. They had a lot to discuss in the beautiful city of Karak. The D-day had finally arrived. Since the last visit Melnyk was excited to the extent sleep dared not to get close to his eyes. The plan was to go to Karak to visit Alpha Lord Haimi but all that lingered in Melnyk’s mind was his friend, Baku. He recalled the heartwarming conversation he had with his friend the last time he visited; the whole conversation was fresh in Melnyk’s retentive memory. He recalled how he spoke about his woes and troubles to his newly found friend, noticing that they lived in a completely different world from his friend. Melnyk recalled what someone had told him about destiny and how everyone has a different life and he should never judge anyone until he walks in their shoes. A couple of years later, a lot had changed in both Melnyk and Baku’s lives, Melnyk thought about it, some were good memories, while most were the opposite, the latter side still gave Melnyk sleepless nights, but the top of it all was the passing away of his father. He thought of his father as a great warrior that restricted himself, he saw his father as someone who could conquer the world but choose to conquer only his mother’s heart. Coward wasn’t the best of words to choose while describing his father but Melnyk found himself settling for that even though deep down his heart. He was certain that his father was far from being a coward. Melnyk believed that to describe his father, he will have to find a word that settles between brave and coward, brave because he had tried numerous times to change what his forefathers had spoilt and a coward for he did not try his very best, even though in future he will come to regret ever thinking low of his father. The News about the demise of Lord Haimi spread around the wolves' land like wildfire. Lord Halalnik felt as if the world had come to an end for him. He felt like his brother had died, he always spoke highly about the late Lord Haimi. He was a special friend and they have been together for a long time.
