CHAPTER FORTY-FOUR

Love is the reason why a lot of strong empires have fallen in the past. Adelard still strongly believed that a man that had found love is deemed weak on the face of the earth because a lover is always vulnerable and any single thing could break him.

This made Adelard still ponder as to how and why his father was able to fight the humans alongside his mother Zafira, to the stage he was able to conquer the great city of helores. His experience and exposure made him believe that there was something fishy about the story that all the elders won't reveal.

Either way, he was not going to think about the advantage and disadvantages of love because he was certain that love had favoured him because at the current moment he had seen the falling of his brother. Adelard and Maria were all 3xcited about what had just transpired. Adelard knew his brother was going to get to the root of the matter regarding his spy, he had happily defeated his brother and now he is closer to becoming the great sage
