Once Janelle and London were gone, we were able to get down to some real business. First, I decided to give Dominic a call. We had not heard from him. The phone he had was not picking up at all. It would always go to voicemail and that worried me.

           “Trying to get in contact with Dominic?” Dante asked me.

           “Yeah,” I told him. “I’m trying to see if he’s good and tell him what’s going on.”

           “Try him telepathically.”

           “Would it work since he’s far away from us?”

           “Can’t hurt to try.”

           I decided to let Malachi do that. That ability was not mines; it was my wolf’s.
