Tatum’s POV:
As the next week passes I feel like my heart is being ripped from my chest as I listen to Luna's cries. She's had nightmare after nightmare and has hardly slept. I feel lost but I don’t leave her side not once as my father pursues his investigation without me. I had just stood from the couch when I received a message from my father saying he wanted to meet with us at his office, and that he may finally have good news but that we needed to be prepared for a meeting with the Connery's. Luna's POV:I sit nervously beside Tatum in the back of the Alarick's limo as Seth and Paul continue to chat with me about everything that's been happening back in Wisconsin. Everything that just happened is on replay in my mind. What did his father mean when he said it was in the Connery's best interest to create a permanent clan tie? And something about a union? Luna's POV:After a few minutes I sit down in the grass as a cricket hops by. I flick my ear as a firefly dances around it tickling the soft fur there when I suddenly catch a familiar scent in the air. I quickly look around trying to trace the direction of the scent when I hear the sound of a twig snapping. I immediately turn my head in the direction of the sound and perk my ears. I see a large shadow move at the tree line and I get onto my feet just as a very large white wolf emerges from it. I recognize him in an instant. His golden eyes shine beautifully and his fur looks as white as fresh untouched snow. I begin to get nervous as Tatum slowly begins to move closer. This is the first time meeting in our wolf form. Tatum's wolf form is majestic and massive in size, larger than any other I've seen and very befitting of an Alpha. Our eyes meet and he holds my gaze.Tatum's POV:

Luna's POV:I feel my body respond willingly to Tatum's touch longing for more as I feel his hand tug the bottom of my shirt up. I put one arm around Tatum and placed my other hand on the side of his masculine face. He slowly releases my lips and I look up into his golden eyes like I've done so many times before. The look in his eyes is different now, full of love and longing. I see the love he has for me reflected in them and my heart begins to feel at peace and happy while the rest of my body feels like fire."I love you too, Tatum."I whisper.Tatum takes my lips with his again drowning me in a passionate kiss.
