Cara nodded like a well trained slave and pulled out the box from the bag. The black velvet box was tied beautifully with a pink ribbon. Cara untied the ribbon trying hard not to let her hands shiver too much in front of others but she was failing miserably because Lucia put her shoe on Cara's feet under the table and pressed hard. Cara jerked her head to her mother-in-law, Lucia smiled but her eyes were sharp.

"Don't be too excited dear girl," she said sweetly, telling Cara indirectly to stop shaking her hands. Cara smiled nervously and managed to open the box without shaking her hands. But the moment she opened the velvet box her eyes dilated seeing the beautiful piece of art inside, "It's beautiful…" she gasped and touched the white diamond.

"Just like you," Aaron commented as He took a sip of the red wine in his glass.

Flavio burned in anger seeing the heart-cut diamond necklace and inside the box was a line written in cursive writing… You Are Beautiful.
