It has been days since Jasper was last at Bloodlust. It was the most peaceful days I’ve had too. I haven’t had to spread my legs. I also haven’t heard him whispering those nonsensical phrases in his sleep. No more hearing him call out Sable’s name while he is inside me.

My daughter is strong and due any time now. I’m in Jasper’s office since I found his keys. No one bothers me unless I ask for food. I want to know what Jasper is up to. Those ramblings mean something.

I need to put some mittens on because I have started chewing my nails. this might be a werewolf story in that there are werewolves in it, but this is one of the best thrillers I've read in a long time!
