Chapter 10

Her scream stopped in her throat. Blinking her eyes, Victoria remembered that it was none other than her husband! She recalled the hectic day has passed yesterday.

But, when did he come!? Wasn't he send the news of not being able to come!?

"What are you thinking?" Alexander asked suddenly.

Victoria blinked her eyes and realised she was behaving like a stupid "umm. No.. nothing.." She slightly stuttered and her voice was hoarse because of sleep.

Alexander looked at those big black watery eyes. They are filled with fear and helplessness, which he never wanted. He wants to see love and brightness in them. He wants those same sparkles which he had seen a year ago when he first looked into her eyes.
