Friday and the weekend were dedicated exclusively to the reality show's finalists for Nicholas. John had arranged meetings between Pierce and the families of each of the finalists, but since there wouldn't be enough time for the cast to travel to other cities, the families traveled to L.A. Instead. Different locations were chosen for the shoots: the first meeting, with Dianna Cooper's family, took place on Saturday at the Terranea LA Oceanfront Resort. The gathering with Maya Hewitt's parents and grandmother occurred on Sunday, and they visited tourist spots in downtown Los Angeles.
