Third Person’s POV

Serena sobbed uncontrollably as she held her mate’s lifeless body, refusing to accept the fate she’d been handed. She pulled him in closer, stroking the side of his cheek as the tears from her weeps fell onto him one by one.

She locked eyes with her mates so called brother. Anger seethed through her, bubbling in her veins every millisecond longer she watched Nate’s killer. “How could you do this?” She spat, venom laced in her voice.

William sighed as his eyes darted to the ceiling. “Do you have any idea what it was like? Living in his shadow? Always Nate this, Nate that. He was so bloody perfect, I couldn’t possibly compare.” He gritted through his teeth as he relived the memories.
