“S!” My mother exclaimed. “You did it!”

I span around to face my mother and Nate, who both possessed wide grins on their faces.

My mother threw her arms around me, almost squeezing the life out of me.

“I knew you could do it” she smiled.

“Hopefully next time I won’t almost have us struck by lightening beforehand” I shook my head in disbelief, as I mentally replayed the havoc I had recently caused.

“It would be nice” my mother laughed, before kissing me on the cheek. “I’m proud of you, S”.

“Thanks, mum”.

She nodded back at me, still smiling.

“Well I’ll go find your father and then we will head back”, she told me as she headed back towards the trees we had shortly came through.

I turned to Nate, who was watching me with pride evident in his expression.

His raven hair was slightly blowing as a gentle breeze pushed past us. The sun was shining down onto his tanned face, illuminating his sharp jaw line and cheekbones.

He looked so handsome.
