Chapter 16 - Moira

                Moira stayed until late into the night, giggling and talking. It was nice to take a night, and just be a normal teenage girl for once. Through it all I almost started to believe that I was some sort of monster, and not just a normal eighteen-year-old.

Moira had attempted to teach me how to flirt, even pretending to be some guy with a fake deep voice and everything, but she eventually conceded when I was too embarrassed to look at her. She had patted me on the head, and told me how cute I was. Making my face flush even more than it had been. When she left in the middle of the night, I was exhausted. Showering quickly before jumping into the comfortable bed, and snuggling myself into the soft covers. Whatever was coming, at least I knew I would have her to depend on.
