Chapter 52

POV: Aeron Darkwood

“What the heck happened a while ago, Leah?” He annoyingly inquired his sister, as he followed her into her room.

Their parents were so furious at what happened in the palace a while ago, and now, they were in the study room with Elder Courdamus. He followed Leah to talk to her about what she did with Tamara.

He knew that something had happened because Tamara seemed to be friendly – with all her smiles and all, but her eyes were too intimidating, wicked, and merciless a while ago.

“Aeron, I’m exhausted. Can you just leave me alone?” She weakly stated as she sat on her bed.

But he didn’t want to leave her alone. He might have been a weak brother to her, but he truly cared for her. She was his sister. And besides, he wanted to know. He wanted to know what Tamara would tell her.

“Just tell me. I know that this is hard for you-”
