We sat there and talked and laughed for about an hour. Jasper had a great sense of humor, it was mixed with modesty and sarcasm that was right at home for me. We understood each other.

”You need to stop acting like your life depends on you sticking around here,” I said and bit down on an apple slice.

”Whatever you say, Luna, oh wait-” He said and look incredulously up at the roof. I turned my head and scowled at him.

”Ha-ha, very funny,”

”It wouldn't be if it wasn't true,” He said and leaned back against the couch with a cocky grin on his face.

”You’re comfortable, might need to change that,” I said with a scowl. Jasper laughed, it was a carefree laugh, one that made your heart flutter in happiness.

I couldn't help the smile that twitched on my face, my lips were tugging up and Jaspers company was one I didn't know I needed. He was easy, carefree, funny, and had no drama. It was refreshing.
